This fixture has now been fully investigated, the results from an independent default panel are as follows :

fired_up_cue 1 v 5 slimeball - invalid game

default score now - colpepper 3 v 3 slimeball

colpepper 0 v 6 the_diamond - invalid game

default score now - langmanj 3 v 1 the_diamond

No bonus given for either team

you say a defualt cannot be reopened ???? how can you arrive at this assumption,,,,

is this just an FBL rule because it can be and has been in FCL

because it isnt in the rules everything falls within the leagues discretion

more to the point i do the tables for sarah, seb made a valid point , the old league runner, awarded a score of 5-1, which means an elememt of blame to both clans so a defualt bonus shouldnt have been awarded, this was then passed to sarah after that im aware of nothing

but let me say they must have found somthing in the default information, that warranted it......

and more to the point it does state above if there are problems contact sarah via offline..

and why would you have a vested intrest anyway the fixture dosnt concern you,,, and i dont see the pythons captain or fighting eagles captain bleating,

There was NO INFORMATION from both sides and if you had read the previous post of what was happening at the time you may understand better.

YES re-open if musts be NO to keeping info back.

Flapping Seagulls Captain won't bleat as he knows he was in the wrong but all of a sudden pity is getting given to him..Fixtures posted by runners to his thread and now this.. He is not a reliable captain regardless of what the defaults say...he has inside help which is Corrupt.

You cannot pair player's up in the last day or so by illegal subbing and you know that fine and well Craig.

Mikee made a Pig's ear of this and should bear the Consequences of his action not be rewarded by doing so.

it could concern him as he was the league runner. in some respect i do agree with dex on the re opened case, a few weeks yes i would agree to open the case but not 3 months or whatever was posted.

well is that the way the new league runners are going to act after 3 months and reopen a case for a default
i disapproval is this it should be closed 3 months ago its a total joke to reopen
original defaults should have stood and that it is real hard to sort stuff with mikeee etc with his attitude and it looks like favouritsm going on here

Couple of things:
You allowed an illegal sub to stand in order to get more games completed. This is what caused these problems. Can we all do this now?
Just yesterday, Top Guns made an illegal sub and the game got played (pilbyjoel 6 vs 0 nick79theman). Should this stand too? Of course not.

You then went on to give the completion bonus despite the last result being a 5-1 on defaults. You justified this by saying that giving the default bonus to Pythons is a punishment for the captain of Fighting Eagles. Brilliant decision.

Personally, I wouldn't have reopened the default scoring of both games. I would've just had a decision about whether a 5-1 can lead to a completion bonus being given. Remember, these are all precedents, meaning if you give a 5-1 bonus one way, you might have to give it again another time if circumstances are similar!

Ultimately, the defaults were done based on the activity of the players, which sarah made a pretty good effort to reconstruct based on a variety of posts on the threads at the time. There were posts of people complaining that diamond_cut was offline for the first three-quarters of the fixture, while langmanj was offline for 6 days late, but had sent messages with no reply earlier. That's how the 3-1 was reached.

The other one was 3-3 since both had seemed equally active based on posts and other info.

It should have never been re-opened and if it was full information should have been sought regardless.

Let's clear up some things here before people shoot their mouths off anymore

fired_up_cue wasn't a valid sub so they should have judged the default as colpepper vs slimeball which we have gone back and done...old regimes mistake.
This was time zone issues colpepper could only play after 7pm UK which is after 2am to slimeball.
The illegal sub was made at 8.30pm UK if it wasn't made there would be no difference as already explained that is 3.30am to slimeball
Both active and trying to play but neither team had subs so obviously a draw.

This score got put through, wasn't decided by default despite the sub being illegal...obviously wrong decision, rectified now by current runner.
Again the illegal sub made at 8.30pm on deadline day so no difference if the sub hadn't been made the game wouldn't have got played anyway.

The evidence is there on the forums the_diamond wasn't active for the whole fortnight until the last day and Jay didn't have subs available or feel that he should be making them without bulldog's permission.

These are wrong decisions and injustices rectified

if a score is 5-1 it shows fault on both sides i can see that clearly ,,, so ne team gets default bonus,, thats simple so how can you award a bonus ,,,,, reading your above post i can see why

id like to see who did the original default info and see why a new one is so differant ..... somthing aint right is it

questions need to be asked who did the original default because their is somthing mega wrong with the orginal dicision .... it looks simple enough to me and i have no vested intrest

Excuse me seb he was warned he was told about the fixtures on the last eve of the games he made he did he abused he rejected. Seems like this is more a snooker squad catch up policy than seeing justice.

There is no catchup policy lol. Looking at current results, they'll comfortably win first anyway!
