i was asking for extension but i didn't get it that's why i said we are out as all can see here it was already an extension before so i don't see why we didn't get it

I agree (if the match is at a draw atm...i dont know if it is) that a extension should be granted to allow the final match to be played or swaped/subbed. But that is my opinion.

The match between Pythons v Latin Legends is currently ay 15 - 13 to the Pythons.

The game that was played in straight had the 30/1/12 deadline added to it because straight was not playable for a day from site issues that is why Sarah granted a one day extension on to the straight game, and rightly so. There is no need for the other game to have the same deadline as nothing major was wrong with 8US, it goes to default which is very fair.

Hopefully receive information from my player soon.

Agreed that straight should have had it's extension but if as you are saying the game is not tied it should go to a default result.

toluca has a point, an extension was agreed of 48 hours, but was the game in question a draw at the time ????

if it wasnt then an extension to this fixture should be given as a matter of principle.

if however the game was a draw at the time im sorry toluca it was given for the right reasons and the default panel should review the current fixture as a matter of course.

You shouldn't have different rules dependant on the score that's crazy. A deadline is a deadline, cup is no different from the league and if it was done in the past it was a bad decision.

I generally support extensions for cup games, because you never want to see a cup match decided by defaults (in part because it tends to cause massive arguments).
The difference with this case to our case a month ago is that it holds up the final that is meant to be played now. Our cup game had nothing following it, so nobody was affected by an extension.

It really doesn't matter what it holds up though, as the default will most likely be put through quick, so what its going to delay the final for what another two days if that? yeah there still another set to go after this current set (Division Two) so its not exactly going to mess up the rest of the season.

There is no need for the shortstop v slimeball game to get an extension but there was for the straight game, Sarah made a good call, one which i would have made if i was in the same position.

You're right about the first part- an extension would do no harm here either.

It's up to you runners to decide to let it go to defaults or not. With a default, the set will not be decided on the tables but by a vote. Never a nice way to finish a cup game. Just hope there won't be too many arguments once the decision comes out...

Well im not a runner of FBL anyway haha and Sarah did post above saying about default information so that must be the final say on it, i have sent in the information for my team, i'll await the result of the default and at 15 - 13 to us there is a good chance we will go through.

It's not a nice way to decide anything seb but if you don't want it decided by defaults you get it played in the 2 weeks given.
The threat of people complaining after about a result shouldn't be enough to force extensions when there is no reason for them.

I would bet they didn't let it go to defaults on purpose
It's still a cup game- if we can afford to give it an extension that affects nobody else, why not?

You could give every league game an extension, still release the fixtures for the next set and not affect anyone...doesn't make it right.
You get plenty of time to play the games and if one team has put in more effort to get them done they should especially see it go to default in the cup because they don't get a completion bonus in the cup so the other team can just leave their best player however unreliable in for the fortnight and argue for an extension at the end?

Since being captain of Pythons i have managed to lower the amount of defaults the team gets, im not one to want a game to go to default decision though. If Latin Legends win by default decision then so be it, will just focus rest of our attention to hopefully winning division two.
