ive seen no tactical subbing on snooker and its the same format as this (only 1 less match in a fixture) and its been implemented for a few seasons but like i said if runners feel they are doing it tactically then cancel the sub

it says they can if an opponent is unreliable or timezone issue.
both captains would have to agree to a swap.
on snooker we have unlimited swaps and subs, works a treat as normally we only get about 3 defaults max per set
What would happen then if one of the captains doesnt agree ? Unnecessary arguments will happen.
Unlimited swaps and subs, cant see this working, there would be no point in having a random draw , players would just be swapped and subbed tactically
FCL has this and i am never aware of anyone using it for this. All it has done is reduced defaults dramatically and i would think that is what is best for any league.

5.6 Substituted players' eligibility
A player who has been substituted is only eligible to play in the same game type and match in the fixture they were in originally. This does not apply to other league and cup fixtures being played at the same time. A substitution is considered official from the moment the captain has posted it in the substitution thread.
thats whats caused a lot of defaults in the past, and UB has been affected by it this fixture thats why i feel it needs to be changed

2.. Allowing a subbed player to be eligible to be subbed back into either of the games. (discipline).
i am happy with idea no 2, will save the prob that one team has atm, where its likely a game will go to default, because the player they wanted to sub back into the game, cant be because the game he was subbed out of has been played.
i definately think that players should only be allowed to sub back into same discipline though.
Do we need 2 swaps though ? i think its best left at 1

Players from different time zones can get games done with a bit of effort on both sides anyway. Me and gentle_giant got ours done with a 12 hour difference and both working days.
Changes to the rules are totally unnecessary, you have twice as many players as is needed to play a 15 minute game each in a fortnight. You have one swap available in each 8 games and a sub for each one.
Maybe some of the captains haven't fully grasped the rules and have subbed people out too quickly but it's not the rules that need changing.
Do think it's strange that I was told days ago that there was no evidence in FCL that defaults had come down at all to back up the argument of bigger squads now the unlimited subs and swaps have brought down the defaults massively.
When are the captains going to be made to take responsibilty for defaults?! They have every had every rule tweaked over the past few seasons to make it easier and easier.

well FBL got their ideas from snooker if we stopped there FBL wouldn't exist today

well FBL got their ideas from snooker if we stopped there FBL wouldn't exist today

The majority of clans do normally get a games played within the deadline but some Division 2 clans have been very high this season (total after set 3 = 49) set 4 looking to increase this.

Nothing to do with the rules though, just a lot of crap captaincy by the sounds of it...49 is just ridiculous.
Should tally it in with league entry, if you have an unacceptable default record you dont get in the next season. That would sort it
