Last night when i was logged in, along with Pitbull and Ste
Out of the blue, a bug came in, calling herself Katie!

And so we all got talking, two women and two boys
Nothing dodgy about it, just laughin like kids with toys!

he convo turned to animals, Tho some they arent real
Can i just say, alive or not, they are all good to feel!

Pit was talking about Amy, his doggy who was poor
Ste he mentioned Poppy, his cats unstoppable for sure

I spoke about my Rabbit Wodge, my friend an oh so kind
The fun we have all the time, really blows my mind!

Katie she was keepin shtum, is her pet thin or thick?
All only know its a Beaver and believe he's electric!!

Members bar was like a farm, buzzin with animal chat
Oh and Ste mentioned a Budgie an i PMSL @ that!!

If you have a beloved pet, share your tale with us all night

Id like to write more poems but the words wont flow,
can never find the words to go below..
So it be a short one from me,not as good as Paula,Hippes or Ste...

I never thought id be going back to school,
the first time round i just acted the fool.
But ive started college!
to expand my knowledge,i start every day with a bowl of porridge.
Its something that i must do to get a nvq..
and change my career for something new.
But it seem that the leopard doesn't change its spots,
i took my class mates down the pub where we all drunk lots..
When we got back we were all fairly pi____d
and i got the blame and a slap on the wrist!
So now i must behave and stay away from the pub,
or ill find myself in a lot of troub!

There is a man who hails above the rest , rants like an angel and is never a pest, he shoots pool like a god with the intensity of bull he keeps it interesting with him its never dull . This person i speak of is a legend in his own time , quick with a run out or a flashy deep rhyme , demeaner of a kitten but intense as a lion his name is hippesville a god amongst men there is no denying!!!!

so am guessin paula really wont mind,
about the words cept for the last in each line,
coz she's a div and lost the plot,
and green paint sits in a green paint pot.

there are fields all round my house,
today i squashed a banana......mouse,
felt quite warm and mushy italian,
i play football up front......branigans.

some days they're just not meant to be,
as easy as the rest,
for some things get on top of you,
when you're not at your best.

it doesn't have to be all bad,
sometimes these things appear,
when you're least expecting it,
might even shed a tear.

confused to what is goin on,
things goin thro' your head,
just get thro'....remaining true,
then put them all to bed.

but this is part and parcel,
of the ups and downs of life,
enjoying all the good times,
and battling thro' the strife.

but i'm not so good at the words to create
i'll give it a go
i will try my best
but really i know i'm not as good as the rest

Cym has just started
his words to combine
i'd love to be one of those talented persons
But 'Writeapoem' may have to give me some lessons.

I've met some great friends on funky for sure
My hubby hates me on here,
he's looking for a cure (to my funky addiction)
Cym's my best buddy
we have such a laugh
We can spend hours in some stupid chaff. (talk )

So keep writing your poems
they all have been great
As for me this is probably the last i'll create

my poems are like my pool,a bit hit and miss.
Ive never been good with words
I just rhyme and its a bit absurd.
I do a few more every now and then
thinking of words as i chew my pen.
