Another good idea, i have heard, today!

Must say, the only thing i like about this update is the fact i can have the old table back... everything else looks amateur (no offence) but the site looked amazing before hand and now in game play seems a lot more amateur-ish i agree with mike on this in everything he has said, except the bit about leaving!

Not sure if anyone else is getting this, but since the update has come into play the pages aint loading up all the time and im getting disconnected even in a uk8 final. It wasn't the connection as all other web pages worked fine.

Im finding since the update, its logging me out (from homepage, not in game) a lot faster!


Not wanting to cause uproar here, but Mike..make a thread asking for those who agree with you OR those who dont like the new update for w/e reason mate..im sure there are ppl who agree with you and making a thread will hightlight the bad points and allow Nick to read over them

Is anyone else getting a lot of lag since the update?

I really don't like the user pictures in the game window.

Yes mate loads of it!! in the game and on the forums.

The web side hasn't changed, neither any of the core game code.

Any game play slow down (if that's what lag means in this case) is unrelated to this change. However there may be a pause before the game starts, eg while it loads the tables. I will optimize this area.

Web side idle time is still 20 minutes, this hasn't changed Paula.



What do you mean by this, can you screenshot an example? Do you mean the showing user's own pictures/avatars doesn't make sense, or the layout is wrong, needs more attention?

The purpose is not just aesthetic. Showing what's currently going on is very important for usability. Before this information was distributed poorly. However it can be made more "glossy" in further updates. (In which case give me feedback)

3 Things I don't like about it.

1. The pictures (it should be countries)
2. The size pictures of the racks (maybe it should be in words)
3. The size of the words like CHAT ROOM its a bit to big

all seems fine to me but the us8 & us9 balls are much smaller( not used to it ) the only way i can get them bigger is to cut off the bottom task bar which then stops me from answering pm's

Yeah a little bit more gloss would do fine as it looks a touch tacky just a touch tho! Other than that its a great update.

For example the shot time is just white and boring how about red? Makes it more funky anyhoooo

Just like to say thanks for all the recent developments which are all good, particularly the ability to see opponents ranking with their games. Nice to see the continual improvement after a period of relative quiet

Sorry about my bad way of typing things nick, i meant it doesnt look as good as it used to, the users pictures shouldnt be there but i like the names being there not pics, also just a little change, i was playng earlier and I realised it doesnt say at the bottom who is breaking off, this threw me as i was looking there and it resulted in me getting a random shot just a point im making...

It says whos breaking at the top next to names now Mich.

I'm having problems with the game game not giving me the colour i want for the game.

Evertime i choose a colour eg. i choose a green table and the colour reverts back to the blue colour has anyone else had this problem.

But fantastic changes nick great job.
