I like the names at the top, it makes it look like a proper scoreboard!

And i do the same, i keep clicking the spin to start the game haha! I'm sure we will all get used to it!

the cloth option is good...

the auto start feature is terrible....i was sat in a room with smithbit and _nick87_ playing killer the other day....wehen the game ended i said right im off to bed, cyas all later, they went bye, the game started again.....ffs.....auto start game is rubbish!

Only my opinions, which dont mean much, but there you go...i think it would have been far better to have done the cloth option, the boot to chatroom or even a longer auto start....30 seconds is daft.

For the first time since i joined, i feel funkypool has gone backwards a bit, not much as its made great strides while i have been here, but backwards from where it was yesterday.

You can resize the window so long as you have a reasonable screen resolution.



This was discussed in detail before. People can't sit in game rooms just to chat, or you must choose private rooms.

lol i was just reading that thread after i posted on here....seems to me, that a lot of people on that thread voiced their opinion against this change....people tried to reach a compromise of putting in an option to turn it on or off when creating a game, or extend the time limit a little or even boot to chat room, but were all ignored.

I know that as an individual, you couldnt care less if i never come back to the site again, but it looks to me like a fair few people didnt want autostart after 30 seconds......

Anyways, its your website so you'll do what you think is best. Good luck to ya

The changes were made because someone obviously thought of it, some saw it as a good idea, some saw it as a bad idea.
But Nick took it as a good idea, and may be just testing at the moment.

This site has had so many changes recently. i think it was time you left it for a bit and gave the game a rest. I feel as though its gone from good to bad. ive been here since 2003, and i cant remember the first time where you have made an update and then gone backwards from it. its a good time to change. or at least have an option to have it how it was a day ago.

Although when there isn't any updates... It's all people want!

There was a long period where nothing changed for a long time.... so many ideas were brought forward, and now nick is working on implementing the feasible and popular ones one by one.... or five by five.

Dissagree. It looks so unpro now. nice neet graphics before. nice heading to see how people are doing in ranking etc, table is a new size, ok i no nick says that you can reeize the table, but i odnt want to be doing that everytime i open the game window up. the score is still at the bottom when a user win/loses. so why is it at the top also? you see the user Pics in PM window, why are they at the top aswell? I spose your not going to change it back, but from my point of veiw, waste of time and effort.

i know what ya mean dave, i havent felt as strongly about anything on this site before...i think the layout looks very unprofessional now with that at the top....much prefer a boot from my own game than being forced to play....the reasons for all this have been done to death and most people think i shouldnt be allowed to play who i want to in my own room.

Thats fair enough, all im offering is a different opinion, maybe nick is planning on gearing the site towards having to play anybody so the ranks are more realistic......takes the fun away for me.

In short, i dont agree with autostart game and think it should be either extended to at least 2 minutes, booted to chatroom or revert to how it was.

The user pics at the top also look messy IMO, i apprecaite the effort though as people were asking for the display pics on the table....i just think that if that cant be done, then there is no point in having them at all.

I Agree with the pic on the table it distracts me abit...But the autostart is not a problem just pay attention to whats going on.

madmiketyson, regarding auto start, it was pretty much you and joodles against, no one else gave any reasons for why they would want it. Hence added - but I don't see why we're covering this old ground. All the other options you mentioned were flawed hence dismissed. However the time before start is open to debate.

People with limited monitor resolutions have valid cause for complaint. They've lost 15 pixels height of the table area. If you're one of these people please ensure you stick your screen resolution on the thread ( http://www.poolgame.co.uk/screensize.html )

old_boy, the window automatically opens to create the same table size as before (but a slightly bigger window). You don't need to manually resize it at all, so I don't really understand the problem.

Nick i noticed in the tournaments that the room name overlaps the players names and the pictures.

Maybe text resizing?
