Didn't actually see any of the games. Got invited to a poker night, so I was busy losing my money instead.

Just finished watching the highlights though. The Arsenal game looked a lot more open than I expected. Seemed like either team could have won by 3 or 4. Milan definately missed Seedorf though. They're a different team when he's on the pitch and they play a lone striker.

How bad was Fenerbahce's turkey of a keeper? Sevilla's first 2 goals should have been comfortable saves for any professional keeper. Luckily for him, Palop fumbled one later on. If they get a decent draw, I wouldn't bet against them making the semis.

Yeah true, but Fenerbahce would have had it wrapped up way before then if Volkan didn't make the mistakes. He was really just patching up some of the damage in the shootout. The real hero was Deivid for getting them back in it.

Anyway, anyone can save a penalty if they go the right way. A lot of it is just down to luck.

Bit uncharacteristic though. From what I've seen of him, Volkan is usually a pretty reliable keeper.

Manchester united or arsenal to win the champions league this year

I believe that there will definatly be an english team in the final again this year as long as they are not all drawn against each other in the next round ( highly likely if platini rigs it as he would hate an all english final). i wouldnt be surprised if it was an arsenal v man u final

Manu,Chelsea,liverpool and arsenal are all doing well in the champions league, do you think having our 4 top sides in champions league is lessoning our chance in winning uefa also??
Ino Everton,Spurs and Bolton are good sides but will they be able to beat sides like psv and Bayern Munich etc.
I suppose time will tell.....Spurs mite have a chance vs psv but will need to get that early goal in the next leg.
Evertons chances i don't fancy tho.

first of all, lets hope arsenal, Chelsea and man united get to the semi's and then lets hope man united win it :D
