Group D was reduced to three players after kowalski's expulsion and the failure of the three recognised player to fill the gap. Sorry m_v_p, but it was too much to demand those three to play a last game in the space of a handful of days when everyone else (the no-show kowalski included) has considerably longer.

Group B is a slightly different story.

Like I said earlier, I had a chat with cityfan84 about it. Whayt I didn't go into were the details. He said basically that he was okay with the idea of being remived with the tournament if his games were not played. Can't remember his reason. This means that only two of the three funcitonal games were played, and of these, the only winning players were ullyart1 and colins, who are both through. They will not meet in the next round, having already played.
