If smithbit can find and beat rob_llew, then the remaining two games in Group A will not be necessary. This does not mean that chris_1986 vs smithbit and bunrzybhoy vs rob_llew should not go ahead, as if rob_llew beats smithbit the group will be wide open.

Nope, cos if rob_llew beats smithbit and bunrzybhoy, and then smithbit beats you, and you've already beaten rob_llew, then rob_llew, smithbit and you - the three of you - will have 2 wins each, and it'll go down to frame difference. So you're not through yet!
