Hi all

I'm gonna have a crack at setting up a home nations tourney, just like madmiketyson did.

Couple of crucial differences:

- Players from the same country will never play each other.
- When the all the players remaining in the tournament are from the same country, that country wins.

I.e., it's a competition for countries, not players. Ish.

Other stuff:

- Quarter-final match-ups will be as diverse as possible (never mind)
- If in the semi-finals three players come from one country, the fourth player will have to beat each of the other players in turn. If he/she is defeated, the last point I made above applies.

Group games are best of three, top two teams go into the q-finals

Round 1 equals 4 x group of 4, and the top 2 in each group qualify for the quarter-finals.

Just a wee note though, there will never be 3 of the same country in the semi-finals as only two from each group qualify.

EDIT: Just realised you meant the groups aren't going to be a scottish group, an irish group, an english group and a welsh group.
