A pondering thought in my minds little eye,
If I ever lived until a hundred and nine,
Would computers have taken over the Earth?
Would men share the pain of giving birth?

Terry Wogan still on the television ,
Talking us through the Eurovision,
He's still got hair as you can see,
Don't tell me that's grown naturally.

The eighth George Bush is ruling the States,
The twentieth comeback from Gareth Gates.
All cars now run on electric alone ,
Kate Moss is all still skin and bone.

No change I get from twenty quid ,
For a pack of ciggies , it's time to get rid,
A pint of beer is bleeding me dry,
What pleasure is left for me to try?

The time has come for me to say,
If I could live forever and a day,
Let me go when I reach three figures,
The thought of eternity gives me the jidders.

I think I should go to bed
Cos I need sleep for my head.

She's silly, she's funny , she makes me laugh,
She doesn't do many things by half,
She likes to think she's good at 9 ball,
She pouts like mad when I win them all.

She's bossy , she's stubborn ,I know too well,
She occasionally tells me to "Go to hell",
She can often make a grown man cry,
She won't write poems, she won't even try.

She's honest, she's caring I tell you this,
She loves to flirt, she likes a kiss,
She's always there to pick me up,
She'll tell you when she's had enough.

She's a wonderful person ,she's always right,
She's a very big part of this great site,
She'll be there for me right till the end,
She's my special Jo , my very best friend!

Great To Be Back

So here it is, the time has come
for me to come back to my home
hope your happy im back, unlike some
finally back here, where im free to roam

We had good old laughs, back in the day
With all you forum junkies and me
The last time i visited was when? what may?
Ive got plenty more surprises, you'll see

But now im back, i have things to tell
But ive discovered that some have gone
for those who went, i wish them well
and i hope things dont go wrong

But my main friends, thank god thier still here
For those who are reading, you know who you are
Most of them on the cruise, the ship full of beer
for the rest i aint seen, i hope you aint gone far

Most of the threads, still running and alive
Im also glad to find,
Some of my favourites, havnt managed to survive
But they still remain in mind
