Was on Page 2, what a pain
Not one poem done today
What is going on i say
Way back when i wud log on
Poem after Poem this thread shone
Verse and rhyme id laff and cry
Then 'twas my turn id have a try
Theres now so many that can do
All these poems for me and you
Spesh Mr Guevara and My Stell
They overtake it, cant ya tell
Used to be Swing and Squeezy too
Even Rudders and the Mr Cue

tyyyy!!

One minute, two minute, three minute, four,
Suddenly there's a knock at the front door.
Quickly he jumps out of bed half naked,
Moving aside all the work he has painted.
Guitar against the wall, the blinds now risen,
He stands still for the knock, silent and listens.
Another knock at the door, he puts on the jeans,
Tattered and worn, coming away at the seams.
Bolting down the stairs, with hair out of place,
The postman reels back as he see's the man's face.
'sorry, you woke me up' is what the man says,
Squinting his eyes underneath the sun's rays.
'Lucky for some then' the posty laughs back,
'I need you to sign for this rather large pack'.
The man slowly signs the card, and closes the door,
A package this big, he's never seen one before!
What could it be, the man thinks aloud,
All anxious and excited, he stares at it proud.
No name on the front, he rips through it his way,
The object is something great, but too exciting to say.

General Chat

Down on her knees
She pleaded and begged
Big puppy dog eyes
Placed on her pleading head
Post on Gen!
Yes! On general chat!
Do it for me!
For that is where my heart is at!
They said i'd never
That i couldn't do it
They said it was hopeless
Tried to crush my spirit
But HA! I said!
To them i said NO!
With an SHAG! and a TART!
We'll see how it goes!
And then over the week, months and the years
as General Chat grew this rose the fears
Of those who doubted before
For hidden away in a land made of balls
Was a tiny creation that had gone unnoticed
General Chat 2 had been hiding away
Untill it was spotted by Paula that day
A challenge she saw and everyone said no
But she knew that she could before she need go
That here it was, new and not yet alive
The thread that she alone could make thrive
So she begged an she pleaded to all around
To pop a head in an make a small sound
So everyone now u know where its at
Go have a look, dont be a prat!

This Goes out To Ste, Stell and Squeezy
They do Poems sometimes to plz me
They know that this thread means a lot
I want them to know they wont be forgot
Go way back when right at the start
Poems were random but some from the heart
We had Swing and good old Mr Cue
Then even Our Rudders done quiet a few
Weve had some from Jill the odd on from Tids
Some really mature ones, some were from kids
Even Our Stephy, she really tried so well
To give us some poems a story to tell
Some have been funny some even crude
Some have been silly some have been rude
Some they have meaning are special to me
Some are posted hastily feelings set free
No matter what title they're all a gud read
Many have pleased me in my hour of need
So back to the lads whos names start with S
Ste, Stell, and Squeezy, u 3 are the best!

FLOWERS (they can do one about Flowers too then)

Flowers are cloourful, pretty and bright
when bought for you are such a delight
From a secret admirer or someone you know
the message inside will make you aglow
Maybe for your birthday or valentines day
a reason isnt needed i just want to say
Give them at anytime to make someone feel better
some flowers a poem or maybe a letter
Whatever the reason, don't delay
give someone some flowers and make their day!!

No test that you set them they will fail to pass,
Riddles or poems or questions are asked,
They would even identify a film star masked,
Orchid and Paula and Mari are superb,
Not one word against them that I've ever heard,
