Congrats Hammy, but i prefer Massa was champion.
One thing is that massa and hammy have had the same amount of bad luck this yr o get over it, hamilton was the best driver in the end.
I would like to congrats Massa he is the best driver on the brazil race track, he knows that track on the back of his hand.
Congrats hammy

I hold my hand up and apologize for parts of my post which clearly are a bit silly.
1) I didn't realise it was raining heavily, I was convinced it was little drops.
2) I was dull enough to not look into it myself like you have Jan, and just went by what the commentator said, and the hug Hamilton recieved and the friends from GP2 etc... a little bit naive I suppose.
3)I supported Massa, felt so frustrated because of the way it happened (I'm sure Hamilton fans would aswell) - This is not because I'm Welsh that I support Massa, It's true that the media are going to take it to far and that does my nut in. But I supported Button in the same way when he won his first race and was just as happy as you are Hamilton winning the title.
There are not many people that hate the English. They hate the English media, and the people that seem to follow the medias trend.
I have followed formula for around 5 years and am old enough to not be patronised. I don't know all the technical aspects but I'm clever enough to realise the difference in condition and tyres. You may argue with my post, which I can see taking a step back, that I don't, but I do and have held my hands up for getting to emotional in defeat and being naive. Terrible really when I don't usually do that.

To help settle Sporting's mind a little more, I looked a bit more at that last lap.

Nothing to apologize for - we all can go off the hinges a tad now and then when in the heat of the moment :P
Something in between really. It never rained very hard, but quite a bit, and the factor making the difference is that the track accumulates more and more water as the rain continued over time.
But yes, wet track was the bottom line to everything on that last lap.
I guess it's a bit paranoid to think wrong about people emotionally congratulating the new world champion :) It would certainly been no different had it been Massa :)
It's silly of people (not you) to bring nationality into this in the first place. Besides, we all have our fans - nothing wrong or special about that.
My apologies - was just trying to give you a bit of perspective.
Hehe, we can all get a bit heated up a bit now and then - think nothing of it. It simply shows we care

Obviously Kimi was going to do that. He was out of the title race, so he (and Ferrari) wanted to help out Massa as much as possible. It would have been the same for Heikki helping out Hamilton, except Heikki was never in the position to help out Hammy.
As for the Glock thing, it may just be paranoia from the Ferrari fans, as Glock had the completely wrong tyres on at that point, which affected his lap.

Was down to luck, Glock was unfortunate enough to be on the wrong tires. Massa had a cracking drive.
Ah well, a Constructor title to put on the Ferrari pile at least.
I reckon if Ferrari didn't have the light system problems, i think it would have been a different outcome.
We'll be back next year!
PS - How awesome are the Brazil fans??

I found it funnier that the majority of fans at Interlagos booed Hamilton like crazy.
<<< anti hamilton and proud.
I think Kubica has a great chance next year, or even Renault.

If BMW Sauber have a good car again next season, Kubica will be right up there again. Cracking driver with the potential to be a champion soon. As for Renault, they had a good ending to last season, main thanks going to Alonso. Nelson Piquet Jr needs to improve though.
I was also sad for Coulthard. Always liked him (cause he's Scottish and I live in Scotland), and it was so sad to see him exit after one corner. Funnily enough, he and Piquet (the other driver involved in crash) were the only drivers to not finish.

You think it good to boo someone?? How sporting of you..........
I didn't bring nationality into it as a serious note, and definitly didn't say to you, Sporting as I know your not 'the type' to get like that. I was winding the ones who will come on with anti-British comments, and go as far to be anti-English. I don't read newspapers, I hate them. I hate all media, whether it be English, Scottish or Welsh (never read an Irish paper) so I won't conform to anything they say as I wouldn't know about it.
My jibe about nationality was made to be funny as I know Jan isn't English, yet is a McLaren fan, which makes him prefer Hamilton!
I agree he's not a legend, yet. Everyone listen to Jackie Stewart, he knows his stuff!
I wouldn't be harsh enough to say anything about Massa, he's proved himself the last two seasons as a NO.1 driver. I never thought he'd come to grips without traction control - he's proved alot wrong.
Kubica was in the wrong for doing what he done, I'm sure of course it had nopthing to do with Massa being his friend. And for the record, he didn't cut up Vettle, he cut Hamilton up! Anyway, don't matter now............
Well done Lewis, you deserved it!
(Was he in the papers much??)

Ya, winning 3 titles in 5 seasons. I reckon he has an idea of the sport!
OH, and he does stand to be the most successful "british" driver at the moment, and no ones changed that since 1973.
So go on Lewis...have a flutter.

I didn't buy a paper so couldn't tell you (I'm trying to break myself in slow)
On Sky Sports news however they're bringing out all kinds of statistics. I.e winning more points in two seasons than any other driver, so he is going to be better than anyone ever ever! Even though he has been in the quickest car since his debut. And check the BBC sport home-page, it's a bit 'ott'

Keep in mind that without being on the wrong tires, he would been 20 seconds behind Hamilton and Vettel, instead of fighting the two for positions.
I'm getting a bit tired of people apparently thinking it was bad luck for Glock to not finish 4th. That's completely turning things upside down. It would have been incredible luck if he did.

Always been a McLaren fan ever since the great days of Senna and the good old era of red and white (guess I'm not allowed to mention that sponsor)
Then again, regardless of who I might be rooting for, I work my butt off to stay as unbiased as I can. Not just in this context, but in all aspects of my life. Not always easy, but a worth while goal imo.

Nothing funny about it imo - Massa had deserved to lose it in a much less nasty way than this.

Well, technically he passed Vettel. That hurting Hamilton is frankly more a coincidence than anything else, 9 of 10 times, his move should have hurt Vettel more than Hamilton.
Still a very weird move, considering him being one lap behind with plenty room both ahead and behind.

A perfectly sound analysis, considering the hard facts of statistics. He is the best rookie in the history of the sport (simple statistical fact), makes considerably less mistakes than newbies normally do, AND has a steady seat in one of the very best teams. In short, there's plenty good reason to put your money on this guy for the future - whether you like him or not.

Hard facts, true but did you watch the programme?
He has 200+ points in two years, awesome achievment. But there are so many factors to consider. They are in no position to say that he will, for example, be better than Schumacher because he only managed to accumulate 57(odd) points in two years. Can you see how it is a little tiny insy bitsy winsy cadinslifyingly bit annoying? Ahhhhhhhhhh)
