not sure on this one if you put the new one on i will never miss a shot ever so i'll keep that with you guys

i too vote for the old table simply because it looks original and reduces the probability of random hitters taking away the games.

I also vote for the current US table.

Remember the mass of people wanting the current UK table replaced by the current US one! If theres gonna be a change, PLEASE do that!

I understand the idea, but why duplicate UK pool?

There is a nice learning curve already in place, UK pool, US pool, snooker..

Thing is US pool is traditionally easier than UK pool, and many more people play US pool....

I agree its supposed to be easier, and i love the new table nick please swap it lol.

then it would be better to resize UK 8 ball "FUNKY" table and make it a bit more difficult than the current "FUNKY" US 8 ball. :p. well, jokes apart. the games are good as they are now.

the new table really really gives the feeling that we are playing a comp game. while the old one looks so very very real.

I've made my feelings very clear, but just to make myself abit clearer, if you change the tables you will be ruining alot of ppls hard work including mine, although i ain't the best i can give the best on here a run for there money, the reason i can do this is because i've practised and become good at it! If you change the table you will be taking the skill out of it and making it so any one can win with minimal skill.

So please nick don't change the table as i will be extremley dissapointed.

I think it would be a good idea to perhaps change the uk table to the one you have in mind!

It's gona happen so i guess we may aswell get used to it!

its pointless its gonna ruin the ranks of all the people who have worked hard to get there us ranks and give people like virtuoso's in uk to be able to get virtuoso in us....to me its not a good idea

I maximise the current table, and I had to check back as I couldn't see much difference with the new one.

I like both types, so not at all fussed, but the new one will probably attract more players to US, because at present there's a huge gulf between newcomers and pros on US games, which must put a lot of newbies off and send them over to UK.

the main difference is that both the balls and the pockets are big in the new one. i think that both these are enough to make the game much much easier (as claimed by few of us to be not missing a single shot)

i have to say i prefer the current style and not the new....

I'm really warming to the new table.

Is it possible to give it Mike's 30-day trial on US 8 only?

The reason I say this is that I think it will improve that game, but not sure it will be good for 9ball. I can see the 9 going down off hit-and-hopes too regularly.
