i reckon u should have the two tables but give higher rank to the current table and less rank for the new table. The prob would be would you have to have it as a seperate game i.e. arcade us 8ball because you cant keep the stats on the same section surely. how would you work that?

I prefer the new table but i'd be gutted if you were to change the uk table as thats my favourite. I can see where some of these people are coming from with the us8 ball. Its a toughy

I prefer this new re-sized table to the old one...if this is changed, US pool will be alot more popular...

I'm errmmm just testing the game before releasing. Wednesday or Thursday.

Most effort now is trying to optimize the game download size. Currently it's about 10% bigger with the 5 games.

I dont see how 10% would be a problem?

can you distribute the download size so you only have to download when you first play that particular discipline and not funkypoo in general?

i agree wit 1_eye, way too easy, id make it available to players somehow but takin away the orginal will take something from the good US players, it would get borin as well. i'd make it available to play though but with less rank given on the newer us table as beannie sed earlier in the forum

I think the new 9ball is much more realistic.

If you watch the World Championships, you know that if a player makes a mistake he's in trouble and the other player has a good chance of clearing.

So he's careful to leave the white safely, rather than go for a hit'n'hope combo.

I've only played 8 frames so far, but I've already learnt to only go for combo if it's definitely on.

Takes a bit of getting used to. As martin_blank says the 9 ball is very realistic in terms of performances now.

There's a genuine chance of clear out from break for better players, the game usually finishes in a couple of minutes and you need think about every shot as if you leave it on you will lose. This catches the basics of real 9 ball.

I much prefer the 9ball as the actual idea of the game come into play much more now, combination shots should be the way to win most games. I'm still not keen on us 8 ball though, think after getting to third in the tables earlier (699 rank I believe) I'll gracefully retire to the 'pro' version. Far more suitable for my likes anyway... just kiddin.g
