My names being dragged thru the mud a little here, so.I would just like to say that I am NOT abusive, and most ppl AREN'T saying that I am.

I have had run-ins in the past with some very bad tempered losers and ppl who have been abusive to me. At times like this, those ppl will come out of the woodwork, I know.

Whatever happened between you and me, guess_who, I honestly do not remember. Although u say u r sure u have the right person, I'm very confused because I have NEVER played u in a final. If I fell out with you at sometime in the distant past - I'm assuming you did something to provoke it.

Its interesting that when we had a PM chat last night, we shook hands (metaphorically) and made up, and then u continue to protest on the forums.

You are a top notch lad and a good mod and i didn't know you before you was a mod so i can't judge you but i knew martin before he was a mod and he was very abusive, and nick it was before you had the send complaint feature so i couldn't complain!

He is the only decision i think that is wrong!

Out of all the applications you got you chose him?!

I'd rather choose playerx, he knows the game and is a decent fellow who likes a good argument too

EDIT: rich what mods do you know that have been demoted after 2 weeks for not doing the job good enough?

They don't get demoted because some people don't like hassle!

And PS, I've been moderating all day, since about 7.30 this morning, without any problems. I'm sorry if this upsets you, but my moderating is fine. The only problem I've had so far is woodworm.

Raiden i believe got demoted after a 2 week trial... everyone else seemed to do the job nick wanted them to do.... and yeh exactly as you just said guess, you didnt no me before i was a mod, and a lot of people were against me gettin it cause i wasnt known and they felt other people deserved it more, but now its all different, and im sure it will be the same for martin, give him a chance like we are, i dont think ive spoke to him until yesterday and we have got along fine to my knowledge, and welcome playerx to the team!!!!!!!!!!

It wasn't just raiden who was removed after 2 weeks, I said before I handled a lot of mod recruitment wrong in the early times (due to lack of my availability on the website).

However, now we have a recruiting procedure, a standard moderating recruitment page, entry requirements, moderating training pages and we take the whole of the funkypool team's opinion when recruiting new moderators. Additionally every moderating action is recorded, so we have clarity on what occurs.

OK, it's not perfect, but it's certainly improving the standard, and the drop on the number of complaints concur with that.

If you did that i wouldn't have a problem with martin as a moderator, it is just the fact you say you have to have never been booted or banned, yet martin could have been booted if he was caught abusing!

By bad rule breaking, i can only really think of 3 and thats being racist, very abusive towards others and threatening to hack mods!

If you can give martin a chance you can give everyone else a chance too!

Stop now. U don't like me. We all get it. Do u think this mouth-foaming attack will help you become a mod? Whether I am mod material or not is my business and the business of Nick and co. Not yours.

Paul and McQuiston are rational, and reasonable, while you are conducting a personal vendetta against someone who doesn't even have a clue who you are. Don't you think this behaviour speaks volumes about you? And the reason you are so disappointed?

Check ur records by way - WE HAVE NEVER played each other in a final - so this whole rant is based on something you had completely wrong in the first place...

ill admit it openly, ive had very bad turns...and made daft mistakes (pool_life as my witness)
