No not really, it's more working as a team should be and players acknowledging they could play better. It will give more incentive to try to be in the A team and with it being based on form then that would be more fair than just selecting the top players by reputation or skill.

I'm sure not every player on here will create a fuss or cry should they be placed in the C team for a fixture. In fact it could be a blessing in disguise.

We are adults here not children and don't need to be mollycoddled and told we are brilliant every fixture. I think it'll keep players more on their toes and possibly add more purpose to fight for every available point.

disagree, if you want strong to A and not so strong to B you should do it at start of season. i don't think you should be able to move willingly (especially for tactical reasons) but special cases could be given if runner believes that it is genuine and not tactical.

They are a League Runner - role is to ensure the Leagues funnily enough RUN smoothly, not dictate and enforce Rule upon Rule for the sake of it. I don't and wont seek permission on every little thing.

No wonder there's hardly any Captains as some players lack a backbone and struggle to make decisions for themselves instead have to ask Mr League Runners (anyone would think they are the Head Teacher!) permission to blow their own nose.

It is needed when the Head Teacher says you can't move without a special exception. Can't just move for the sake of it otherwise i would have moved Dee to Team A to stop defaults but when it was refused it was no longer an option.

When you don't listen the Head sends you Home

I wasn't aware B team players are much weaker than A team players

the idea was to stop teams subbing in players
at the expense of some one who has played all season in that team
and rightly so too, there was nothing wrong with it tbh

however if the A team never got to the final and the B team did, I personally would be well sick
if I was subbed out to accommodate some one else

clans are failing big time now
the only way for it to succeed now is reduce the number of players, to create more teams

super league is showing that its the most competitive league, it has reduced players and it works

so why not reduce the teams to 10
and have 6 games in FCL
it was that way and it worked then.

2 dominant teams winning everything, its been that way for along time, no coincidence the leagues are suffering
people like to think they have a chance of winning

fun teams have gone because of how serious things are, its still no better today

look at the old fun teams that have gone

there is no way back for clans as they are, not a chance

I wouldn't blame anyone but the captain for not picking the teams for reliability, just signing anyone up, doesn't work and never has

Correct Craig - Team A and B are equal and have been for every season I've been fortunate to be a Captain with 2 sides. Next season we might explore the possibility in all our better players being in Team A as that's what the other teams are already doing. (most of them).

I just don't appreciate being told i have to ask permission for every damn thing - Why? Why should I have too? It's my team I've generated throughout the seasons and I should be able to play or select who I like for whatever side. At the end of the day it's still Phoenix Revenge both sides represent.

I totally agree with what you've said too apart from 16 (14 for some) down too 10 is a bit too drastic - 14 then 12 could be the gradual way to go about it. More teams the merrier and could create even more healthy competition.

because i was forced to, a minimum of two teams, not blaming Keith for it as i have struggled the last two seasons so clearly i'm doing something wrong.

check the site, "i'm not the Captain" so which is it? done my best this and season and worked my butt off making sure games are played even though i'm just a member. i'm just a natural born leader i guess, it is in my genes

My A and B (better and worse) teams have swept up every league this season. We've not fiddled or tried to manipulate anything, we've just been better than everyone else. Surely we should start rewarding this rather than looking at ways inferior teams can win silverware with their pathetic tactical substitutions and forced defaults?

You have pretty much apart from a select say 5 players the best on the site...if you weren't winning everything then - I'd be really concerned if i were you. Why don't you start again from scratch and see how great a Captain you happen to think you are?

There's a challenge for you!

Every other team has to evolve or bring in new players (some new to clans completely) to watch you sit back and claim to be the best because you only have the best. Yawn!!!

This season alone I've brought 5 players back to clan pool. I've done it without killing any clans in my wake!

Do you know I've not tried to steal anyone form Cues Brothers, Black Scorpions or DFE this season?

been there ,, done that, had one default as captain in 11 seasons, couldn't have been that hard
or did I miss something
and that was with dodgy league runners too

Uprising are the measuring stick whether people like it or not, before Uprising became that stick it was Professionals (before i took over) and Uprising was 2nd, before that it was MVP and Snooker Squad/Untouchables. Throughout my time, their is always one top clan and one clan as good but can't beat that top clan (or rarely).

Uprising are here to stay with their loyal players (reminds me of D&C) so people have to try and match them in talent if they want a chance to win. It could be done, as impossible as it sounds but it means just signing top players and not just anyone that wants to join.

Alternatively there is also one clan who gives anyone a chance regardless of ability, was Underdogs, now FPD.

Just need to ask what you want, Titles or Happiness? both would be good if you have top loyal guys like Uprising but not always the case

Snooker Squad was the team to beat or compare yourself against, then that switched to Pros when mattywellie ran that team. Uprising only became the force they are due to the demise of those 2 mentioned before. They killed Snooker Squad with taking pirate_steve and I think fran was sarny_lad way back then too, he had a time at Pros before Uprising pinched him. Same with Imran (r1p0m4n back then).

IF the REAL Pros or Snooker Squad were ever to re-surface Uprising would be hit the hardest - in fact they would be quite unrecognisable.

it wasn't hard captaining a team full of class players
who were all reliable, made an awful lot of people jealous
winning the FCL and FBL in one season
and walking out on 2 cup finals
