Not with the passionless LVG we won't mate - we got more chance cooking up a storm in the Great Manchester Bake-Off than winning the League this season. Probably next season as City getting PEP - he will need to adapt to the pace of the Premiership and I don't think he'll find it as easy as many expect. Look at Jurgen Klopp, top manager and I would have liked him or Mourinho in charge of United but he's not finding it easy and is still adjusting.

I have a theory which is probably a load of garbage but it's also a hope that the reason LVG didn't sign anyone in January isn't because Luke Shaw is very close to his return (March) but LVG will resign the end of this season. A new manager at the helm and given a nice transfer kitty to mold his squad. Now with no new intake there's no one apart from the usual suspects to sell. (Fellaini - played very well tonight vs Stoke I will add), Young, Mata (I think we can replace with better), Jones, Valencia. We need to play Depay and Pereira more often along with Herrera. Martial is just CLASS!

I think Man City will win the league they will beat Leicester unfortunately and I echo what gerard said - they have been the best team and achieved some unexpected and fantastic results. I think my last prediction was them to not finish in the top 4 - it will have to take a landslide for them to not achieve a top 4 place now. (14 games to go).

Still many twists & turns to come. Been a very good season mind, unpredictable.

I think Leicester's high flying season has let Spurs go under the radar. I thought they would've dropped more points than they have done and tbh, their form is better than Leicester's. City often have struggles without Kompany and/or Aguero. There are fitness and injury questions over both so I think they might actually finish third, Arsenal are doing well but one or two hiccups have shown and they are due their annual dip in form now. I think Spurs vs Leicester would be a fantastic title run in and they are the two teams who deserve it.

Well we were awful last night, like our game with Leicester we made united look better than they were. Need to bounce back against Everton and get a positive result after a bad few weeks.

Yeah I agree with you Zante, spurs have been on outstanding form.. they've just went under the radar because of how people are shocked about how well Leicester are doing.. In my opinion they will get top 4 no problem, and possibly push for a title race.

Ahhh Stokie, don't take that away from us Martial's goal(build up to it and finish) is the best thing we've did all season lol

You mean the only thing decent we've done all season lol. The third goal was great a great team move aswell That has to be the best we've played all season, let's just hope can replicate it vs Chelsea.

Tottenham are playing very well, I still think they'll slip up just like Arsenal have a tradition to do.

I agree with this - Stoke didn't play anywhere near like they can and have been. Arnautovic played like he wasn't interested and Bojan was very disappointing. I happen to think Imbula will be a very good player for them - I'm sure they'll start winning again very soon.

United did play very well mind and I think that's the best they've played even if their opponents were disappointing.

Champions elect and title favourites now, I can only see an in-form Spurs having the potential to stop that happening. Hats off to Leicester. Champions League football must surely be theirs now, what a turnaround and truly the best part about the beautiful game.

Go on Leicester , punkpoet you must be on the moon

** Many papers reporting that Mourinho has told his close friends and allies he's the next Man Utd manager from the Summer. Hope so, be great to bring the team back some identity. We have been playing a lot better the past 2/3 fixtures, is that just a coincidence?

Have the players noticed anything or heard anything about the possible changes...hmm I wonder.

I liked LVG but too much has changed, the team has no identity, draws are played for more than they should and Old Trafford is not a fortress instead more a revolving door for the opposition to counter attack and score at will.

I hope these Mourinho stories and reports are true. Also hope LVG resigns and concludes what has been a brilliant career it's just unfortunate Man Utd was too big a job for him at the latter years of his career. Maybe a few years ago he would have been better and more suited, who knows. **

Great goal by Martial, United have finally started to play. Still unsure why Depay is not being playing in Lingards place!!!

C'mon United
