If he can do at United what he's done at Chelsea this season, then I hope you do get him

Agreed, already dealt with that issue by saying LVG out. Liverpool have changed their manager and the team atm is being outplayed by WATFORD!

NO - he should be sacked at Half Time after that abysmal halves performance. Stoke have been the much better side and fully deserve their 2-0 goals, should really be 3-0.

Giggs should take over 2nd half - Mourinho IN ASAP!!!!

None of the players are playing to keep LVG in his position, that's obvious.

Best thing that can happen is LVG and the board come to an agreement and he says he quit and gets a bit of a Golden Handshake.

It's crazy the pay-offs these guys get when they're doing such a bad job......wouldn't happen to me or you, we'd just get the sack!

He will resign in the morning that I have 100% belief in - Giggs will more than likely run the team vs Chelsea and Mourinho be appointed ready for Swansea or just after - probably the Cup match.

You say this like it's an insult, Watford play far better football than United and half the teams in the league. Take into consideration form an it's really not that big of a shock.

You were giving LVG more than 3 months after he made a huge summer outlay to get the team playing how he wanted. Klopp has had less taking over from someone else's team. The result against Leicester shows we're heading in the right direction because they were undoubtably the best team in the league atm with two of the most prolific attackers in England right now. Whereas United fans now want Mourinho because he's available, that's put pressure on the team and manager and now the effect is your team is struggling.

Mourinho is the same style as LVG, a big manager who makes success from defensive displays. Some United Fabs are jus wanting Jose for his success, ignoring that he is the same style as LVG which they want I move away from. Only difference is that Jose had had a huge meltdown this season causing instability and ultimately losing the players to ause a huge drop down the table by a champion team. LVG took a team from out of Europe to the CL, then got them slightly above the 4th place level before they've dropped down now to just below. There was no issue with his style when the results were fine.

I don't see how the solution to a composed defensive coach at a slightly underachieving side is getting a defensive coach in full meltdown from a hugely underachieving side.and that will give you the attacking football that you were used to. But I have my fingers crossed that United fans force the pressure on that move through

don't agree with this at all Zante

the fans have been against LVG for some time now
with team selection and lack of creativity and risk taking
mainly the lack of attacking flair, something they've been accustomed too for many many years

Mourinho has been on the seen for a couple of weeks
I agree it is has more of a destabilising affect, however the route cause is defo LVG, ask any Man Utd fan

So we're approaching the halfway mark for the season, and I think now would be as good a time as any to evaluate the performance of the big new arrivals to the premier league. Let's see what Funky's opinion is of the below players!

Anthony Martial (AS Monaco - Manchester United: £36m)
Kevin De Bruyne (VFL Wolfsburg - Manchester City: £52m)
Nicolas Otamendi (Valencia - Manchester City: £38m)
Bastian Schweinsteiger (FC Bayern - Manchester United: £15m~)
Pedro (FC Barcelona - Chelsea: £19m)
Yohan Cabaye (PSG - Crystal Palace: £10m-£15m?)
Roberto Firmino (Hoffenheim - Liverpool: £28m)
Memphis Depay (PSV - Manchester United: £25m)
Xherdan Shaqiri (Inter - Stoke: £12m)
Son Heung Min (Bayer Leverkusen - Tottenham: £22m)
Salomon Rondon (Zenit St Petersburg - West Brom: £12m)
Dimitri Payet (Marseille - West Ham: £10.7m)

No leicester players???
Kante?
Fuchs?
Both been brilliant for us.

Seems like no one wamts to talk about the league leaders lol

got to the best piece of business out of all the players listed by a mile

I totally agree with you on both of these players
Fuchs £2.1 million right or left back unreal player for that figure great business

Kante £4.9 million again a power house in midfield
again great business

got to say even if the wheels fall off these players are total class

They were happy with title talk pre-season and at the end of September when they went top. They were happy last month when they were in second place, 1 point behind Leicester. Dropping out of the Champions League and Mourinho being available has put the pressure on the team, they didn't look worried about the CL until the final game and they were going through without a worry at one point in that match. There has been some disdain at the style because it's the opposite of what they had, but they were in a great place not long ago and they didn't want to change the manager then.
