Sad to see him go as he gave his all for the job, but take out the second place and we were no better under Rodgers than before and looked like heading for another sub par season. Harsh match to go on as it was one of our better performances so far but still we have the same problems. But with a two week gap till the next match I can understand it, Brenfan had had a chance and it hasn't worked.
I'm hoping for Klopp, his style is closer to Rodgers so should be an easier adjustment.
Brendan Rodgers Sacked!!!
Jurgen Klopp will get it IMO.

They need to get rid of the background staff too - let Klopp do his own job - I think he'll bring quality football back to Liverpool.
I rate him highly, got the best out of all his players notably Lewandowski, Gotze, Reus, Aubameyemang, Kagawa, Gundogan, Hummels - so he could work wonders with Liverpool.
Not only build up the youth players but bring in Top quality NOW - which is urgenly required. Firmino, Coutinho, are both top players but need man management and Rodgers IMO never did that as well as Klopp can.
Those 2 players and the rest tbh should be excited if Klopp is appointed.

Mourinho has taken Champions and turned them into relegation battlers, while blaming on a physio who was told to come on , we might as well sign big Sam instead xD at least he's seen a relegation battle or two

Liverpool fans need to beware, nothing Klopp brings to the table is any better than Rogers
be careful what you ask for

Was abit gutted to see Rogers get sacked but i can see why he has as Results have'nt been good enough and i wanted his signings to do better . Being a Liverpool fan i feel we have some great players but also feel our Defence needs sorting out . good centre back we need along side skrtel . Also would like to see us get a better centre midfield player along side coutinho.
i didnt like rogers formation at times and i really hope we bring the Right man to replace rogers .

A Bosnian website posted Jurgen Klopp signed to become Liverpools manager yesterday so you were correct fran. I have a strange feeling that Ancelloti will be given the job over Klopp
I'm not a Liverpool fan but think Klopp would be perfect for them but Ancelloti with all his experience stands him in even greater stead.

Ancelotti is a "safe" option, good at taking teams to success when they are narrowly missing out. Klopp is more of a risk, but a much better fit comparing BVB to Liverpool as clubs.
More exciting football, more charisma, and we need someone like Klopp to lift us up. Anfield can get behind Klopp a lot more than it would Ancelotti and that is crucial. If he is a success he could become a cult icon for us, I don't think Ancelotti could; Particularly since he has strong ties to Chelsea and AC Milan. The task that is required doesn't suit him. He would need a title challenging team, and may well be going back to Chelsea if things with Mourinho don't work out.
A safe option and an exciting option, ask Liverpool fans what they want and they'd take the risk. That's why Klopp is favourite for the job.

Big Sam or Pearson to Liverpool maybe even Paul Lambert
I love Klopp, but id rather see him go somewhere like Arsenal for some reason.
Any ideas on who will take reigns at Sunderland yet?

Massive Liverpool fan here, but really? Liverpool think their a big club. But there not! They haven't been a big club for years, big clubs challenge for big titles year in year out. When we had suarez/torres/gerrard.. We were a 2 man team. Defense was hopeless, couldn't stop a kid from scoring, never mind world class strikers. Or as you put it "massive club". Yeah right!

The only thing massive about our club, is the supporters we have all around the world. Funny that though really! We have more foreigners coming over to England to go to anfield to watch Liverpool play. Then actual supporters itself in England/Liverpool.

And I have to disagree here. I guess you are forgetting klopp won Dortmund 2 bundesliga titles, also got them to the champions league final. And also to a domestic cup final were they lost to Wolfsburg. Much more experience then Rodgers. Being older you'd expect klopp to have more experience. But if theres anyone that can dig Liverpool out of the hole they are in. Klopp can! If klopp can get Liverpool playing the type of football that's played over in Germany. We'll be laughing
