OK Craig. The three on that list I have asked have all confirmed that they are definitely NOT an arcade specialist. One of the people I just asked wanted me to pass on a message to you that I would most certainly get banned for if I did. Maybe apologise for your imbecilic, incendiary response to a perfectly reasonable comment?
Don't mind Craig. He got abit over excited at the thought of arcade. He might actually win a frame or two per fixture should arcade be introduced
I love how FBL is purely a specialists league - is there really anyone on the site that considers themselves an arcade specialist? I'm nowhere near a top player, and I absolutely despise the arcade forms. In tournaments I think it's a disgrace anyone can gain tournapoints entering them!!!
Could we not just set up a separate arcade league if there are enough gormless degenerates to create the demand?

I am now done with funky for the foreseeable future. Keith amazing job I know your only trying to accommodate all options being put to you by players but no way is a format! It's called :arcade: for a reason, like slot machines jeez.
Be safe funky players il pop back in a week or so to see has progress been made

Yeah, I read about the idea in keith's post, I understood that with the change to SL (counting frames, playing 9, etc.), FBL would have 6. I like it, with or without arcade.
keith, you'd also increase SL to 8 indiv matches right?

I dont like the idea of arcade, thats why i suggested reducing each game type to 6 as a compromise, just a minor change then, surely that wouldnt hurt.

Should this FBL change to add arcade and have 1 frame of each type go through, I would be asking my captain to not include me in the FBL league games at all.

There isn't a league with a long enough format, FCL is 15 frames, why would you want longer ?
We could be heading back to the top clans wanting longer formats to suit them argument.

If the SL removes bonuses isn't it just a quicker FCL with a slightly different league format?
If that happens to the FBL then surely there is no reason why straight can't be increased to 4 frames?

Arcade has had far more games than straight yet we have had arguments for days about not losing straight. Before it has had that many games played there are obviously people playing it and playing it more than straight

A very flawed comparison considering that a frame of 9 ball arcade takes thirty seconds and 8 ball arcade around a minute (not that I have anything against Arcade!)

Please tell me how many games of arcade gets played daily on snooker and how many on here?
Also arcade gets more frames played than straight cause a frame of arcade lasts 10 seconds.

Arcade has had far more games than straight yet we have had arguments for days about not losing straight. Before it has had that many games played there are obviously people playing it and playing it more than straight
9 arcade takes 30 seconds a frame in comparison to straight that can take longer than 10 minutes in some cases.
Not to mention there is more arcade tournaments and micros than straight ones.
