Players, but it is minimal for staff as well relative to the other leagues.

half pretty much everything i think.
teams 8 players, ok max 10. FBL, FCL, SL all 4 games per match.
depending on the amount of new teams this would create, maybe 4-5 matches per fixture.

deadline 2 weeks

That would hopefully make the whole thing buzzing again.

downside being tht its much more wrk for the runners

Tbh I think that the way things are going with funkypool, the Clan Competitions are going to suffer.
If nothing is done to sort the problems, then players are going to get fed up and stop......I recognise this maybe isn't appropriate to General Discussion, but will and is having a knock on effect.

I saw no problems with the previous formats for Clan Leagues, and, none with the current format. Is it a case of people wanting an input just to be a part of changing things?

I think you guys have hit the nail on the head to be honest. Too much arguing in clans because of inactive players or people edging for defaults or not wanting to play at specific times.

Cut the Maximum team numbers down to a max of 10 players.
Make EVERY league game 5v5. SL and FCL
FBL is 8us, 9us, 8uk, straight and captains choice - captains choice being a format in which captains choose a player to play in it and both captains have to announce which format to play .. 2 frames of each format, 4 frames total.

Cup games 3v3 , semi finals 4v4 and final 5v5.

2 week deadlines at maximum, would like to see one league adopt a 1 week deadline (maybe FBL and have 4 frames per game - 2 straight) and the other two can be rolling 2 week deadlines.

Would make the whole clans much more fun with more clans.

Don't allow 2 teams from one clan, but sister clans, captained by different people, can of course be allowed.

I find it very convenient how the moment I manage to create IMO an outstanding team the maximum number of players be reassessed. Excuse my cynical mind but how much of a coincidence is this?

Agreed the leagues need a revamp and sprucing up, change is good but it's so easy to just say reduce the team numbers. Signing players isn't easy and the challenge is another aspect I really enjoy when being a Captain. To now tell me that 6 of the brilliant players I've managed to acquire are too many is nothing but a farce.

IF reducing teams to ensure others can be created is the way forward then the max should be between 12-14 max. That will create a surplus of 2 or 4 who can join another and create another side. All well and good saying create other sides, sides need good Captains too, otherwise we'll be in more unnecessary strife with defaults etc.

So I'm happy to admit somethings need to be done, the formats need a complete overhaul and hopefully attitudes and the enjoyment for all can be rekindled and most of all 'Breathe new life into an ever Dieing site.'

u can always make 2 teams Ash.
im sure its not aimed at you, the thing just needs changes

i feel having good captains isnt a problem, i mean most of the teams now include on average 3 players tht could easilly captain a clan.

but if you constantly struggle for players then doesnt matter how good you are as a cap, u still will have problems.

True but other clans are struggling slightly, Pros, Unbeatables, Revolution so reducing would help those, okay maybe 10 is too steep but 12 or 14 could be manageable. Maybe they didn't think of Knights when posting but as a league whole as they should.

It shouldn't be about one team but the league as a whole

I would reduce the deadline also, too many guys relax for 2-3 weeks then play the final week, not saying this because of legend_pot but its been an occurrence for seasons now.

I vote to have each game last 1 week

This isn't aimed at you, but we have seen it many times before in the SL... I can't imagine someone captaining 2 teams of 10 in three leagues
The fixtures need reducing and the speed of games need increasing, with more players actively being played in teams of 10 rather than being left to play 1 game every 3 weeks in teams of 16, the site might become more active

Teams of 10.

With fixtures being 4v4,5v5 or 6v6 is the best revamp I have heard for awhile in terms of how to fix clans.
More clans with more active players and fairer games can only mean a good, fun competition.

The same which happened on snooker. They said other clans wouldve been created and reality says that nothing like that happened. Only the number of people who are in clans dropped. So before taking any action to reduce clan sizes i suggest to find out how many new clans will be created if this happens and how many people really want a captaincy role.

On the other hand, new scientific researches suggest that now the earth doesnt rotate anymore after the sun, but after Ash and his outstanding team lol

Yes that suits you. You couldnt give a monkeys as to wether it suited any other team. Same could be said for this discussion. All your worried about is your awesome team, where as there is a much broader picture being discussed. A picture in which your team is but a small part.Its the greater good that everyone but you is interested in.

I would consider Captaining a team, if the teams were 10 players max with the fixtures being lessened to 4v4, 5v5 or 6v6.
