Plenty of work for both sides to do, Balotelli might just be the spark to start something off. Liverpool should be pretty much done in the transfer market. Maybe one more player in.

United still have to bring in a fair few players, they've got a lot more work to go to catch up. Di Maria is a great signing if he can adapt to the premier league. £60 million is a lot but it's along the lines of what they need to spend.

Hopefully Borini goes through to Sunderland. It's a good deal for all parties, the only thing he might be thinking about is CL football but I don't think he's near our starting XI for it. Sunderland he'll get game time where he can improve.

Working on it, difference is you got all your players and spent 110m, well your new squad, we only need a few players. Man City last night were not at their brilliant best and still tamed a defeated Liverpool. They looked beaten when entering the pitch.

Liverpool were mediocre, only improved when Lambert came on. Moreno at fault for 1st Jovetic goal, Markovic were useless, Emre Can well only contribution were his dive.

Granted Utd need more players but bet we get them too: Di Maria will be the signing mechanism we need, watch others follow.

How many times have you said that though, that a deal is gonna be done within 48 hours which has never occurred. It's not good business by Inited at all because it's nearly 20 million more than he would've been if you'd have acted quicker.

I haven't said this before but Man Utd will be lucky to finish 7th
if the don't hammer Burnley and get some confidence
also

ash you talk about x players coming in

they will need time to blend and get a grip with the Premier League demands

as far as im concerned there really goosed this season

as for Liverpool
I cringe at Balotelli signing, he isn't a Squarez
they looked disjointed, god help them to when CL starts the squad is thread bare of quality a few injuries and they will suffer bigtime

I think a quick exit from CL could be the answer

Arsenal look slick already, Man City and Chelsea look different beasts, either team could win the league March

whoever gets the head to heads won will move on big time

Replaced Jaws with BAM BAM.
It's a family club lol, in more ways than one.

I agree usually would take time to settle BUT if we sign one CB, one CM along with Di Maria then won't be too difficult for them to adapt to their natural positions. Where as Liverpool bought in 9. And tried play 3:6:1 lol

Stoke have had an awful start playing a good team like man city away probably at the right time normally Hughes can get the best out of us when we come up against the better teams

United need more than a few players to sort out that mess they are in and also playing. One or two players is not going to sort that.

My main issue with United is the fact Mata and Rooney can not play in the same side it just doesn't work. Yes they got a messy goal the other day with them both on but seriously come on they don't work.

With the boat load of dosh they splashing out on him i don't think he will be bothered about Champions League giving the consistent pay check each week he will be getting.

He signed as it is Man United, their history speaks for itself, at least it did when Fergie was around.

Man United
oooooch

the confidence is flowing away
Moyes has killed that team in every aspect

if Burnley win this weekend, I believe orders from the top will come down

Back to 4-4-2

Balotelli has potential to be a class player he has shown signs just his attitude, lets hope that becoming a father has made him grow up, but as a Liverpool fan i trust Rodgers.

Man Utd well it fergie syndrome it going to take time for new man to change the clubs philosophy after 25 odd years it a long time to change a habit burnley big game Di Marie great signing.

Arsenal well need to sign top striker Sanchez will flop and i think they will struggle.

man city and Chelsea agree in different class at moment.

Dont rule out Tottenham this year look very well organised under Pochettino.

Lmao at United....It may have been a 'second string' team with a few first teamers thrown in but they should still be beating a third tier team not losing so comfortably.

I don't think Moyes were the problem in the first place. He didn't help but just proves just how good a manager SAF was...Di Maria must be questionning what he's done to himself now hahaha.
