di maria will make no difference

you need a lot of pace

Man Utd played like a load of crabs
sideways constant

Will Buckley killed your team a championship player in his second start

speaks volumes

I hear the Di Maria deal could rise to just over 70 mill if all the bonuses are met. An awful lot of money to be not impacting as much as you'd like. You need more players in to get the best out of him and the over training is really hurting your squad. Of the 3 proper signings, 2 are injured and 1 is ineligible for now. So no new signings can play, a lot of players moved on and plenty of injuries from what is left. It's not just the big signings you need, at this rate you'll need some short term loans.

Didn't see the match, but less than a win and it is panic stations. Next up is Burnley, if United can't get 3 points out of that then I don't know how they'll get close to the top 4 when they are so far behind even so one teams with top half aspirations (granted, those teams don't have millions about to be blown). They have to improve surely because any worse than last season would be devastating to any chance of top footballers coming in even with big money.

More players will be following...don't worry yourself about that.
Needed urgently, I'll give you that but this is a transition not a panic station.

So how many goals will man City win by this evening - Jovetic might play tonight, good player. Brendan Rodgers best hurry back from his creche from during the day with Balotelli or he might miss the actual match.

The match, United were woeful, they passed forward to the wings then only to go sideways, no penetration, no creativity, no pace, no guile, no charisma, no spontaneity just very predictable and lacklustre. There I said it, things can ONLY get better from here on in.

As for Di Maria, will be a quality acquisition, still doesn't help with the shoddy defending so hopefully Blind and Benatia or another defender not mentioned yet, might be in along with the Enforcer De Jong. Maybe Vidal seeing as his name with uttered by LVG during press and tv interviews. Gutting news about Saeed Kolasinac today though, out for 6 months from injury sustained for Schalke 04 - Knee Ligament damage, only 21 years too. Hopefully recovers quickly.

As said, UTD can't play any worse so next performance vs Burnley will be a darn site better. I still believe in LVG, give him time and Liverpool will be waiting and watching with much anticipation. Only a matter of time, clocks ticking

Di Maria was terrible in the world cup for argentina ... he gave the ball away 32 times in one match ... if thats the sort of quality that man utd want in their team then so be it .. there is a reason arsene wenger chose not to have him when he could of had him for 40 million only a month ago ... is not and has never been world class .. an average player in a very good real madrid side is all Di Maria is.

We will see, I know he did have the worst match of his life that one until he ended up SCORING the winner to help Argentina progress so not all doom n gloom.

Balotelli done to Liverpool, now that's Desperation!!! How long before throws toys out of his pram? (Great Price tho 16m) - probably paying more in Wages than his actual fee.

I'll give him 2 weeks.

he did score a winner your right ... but he squandered so many other opportunities if he even has a game half as bad as that in the premier league teams will punish.

2 weeks is longer than any of your signings have lasted so far, and they were almost twice as much as him. He did assist the goal that took the premier league title away from United when he was there. So he'd be better value for money than any United signing

No desperation from Liverpool for Balotelli, fits the bill and is proven. Probably not before Rooneys next big strop, how much will you go up next time? 350k a week? 400k? I'm surprised you lot haven't just cut out the middle man and given him access to the clubs financial accounts.

Well done Captain Obvious, he ripped us up in preseason and only didn't get into City's squad through injury. Great player

Liverpool are continuing where they left off, weak defensively and a stacked midfield.

£59.7m Fee Agreed - Now that's more like it - Knocked off £10m and will pay a further £5m in add ons should he reach milestones.

Good Business I say! (Di Maria)

Will Villa hang on to Ron Vlaar by deadline day?
Has a great World Cup - so surprised no offers been made.

probably not being tapped up by sunderland .. he will probably leave we have nothing to offer him at all .. cant even offer him more money .. but lambert is a muppet anyway he hasnt got a clue what he is doing, ten minutes to go against newcastle he brings on darren bent .. fills every villa fan with confidence ? NOPE , a fit joe cole sitting on the bench .. a young lad called jack grealish .. they should be on making something happen but instead ... we get darren bent. Sooner Lambert goes the better. Never wanted him from the start villa unfortunately are now only a big club by what they have achieved in the past but even so Lambert wasnt ready to step up to a bigger club from Norwich it works for some managers stepping up .. roberto martinez and brendan rodgers to be exact but Paul Lambert was not ready i said before we had him when he was fave for the job he would be a flop .. and how everyone knows i love being right.

Do you think the signing of Roy Keane is to cover their tracks when Lambert (Mr No Charisma) gets the sack? I do.

Every interview I see him in he's sooooo dry, boring, morbid, lacklustre. IF he's like that when motivating the players then ever likely Roy Keane's been drafted in. Kick up the backsides.
