Liverpool have made their bids in a timely and orderly fashion. Enquiring and negotiating deals quickly and when a deal breaks down they've moved onto the next target while United throw more money at at the deals and remain in denial about the top players rejecting them for football reasons. Money talks, but there is clearly more to it than that. Roja and Herrara don't fill me with fear ahead of playing United, Shaw is a bright spark but LVG in his wisdom has overtrained him and got him injured.

You'll get unproven hyped players, you've had 0 marquee signings so far and the only likely one you'll get is Di Maria which Madrid are under no obligation to sell and since PSG have made progress and you haven't (otherwise it would've happened by now even with United's snail pace in the transfer market), I wouldn't be assured it will happen. Khedira is your best bet but he isn't exactly marquee, a very good player and the sort that is lacking at United, but I'd expect you'll overpay for him and then class him as marquee.

He had a brilliant World Cup, he's just a bit injury prone and he's bring let go by Madrid not bought out from them. He's not one of their key players at the moment. Ronaldo, Bale, Suarez, Neymar were all marquee. Khedira would be a very good signing but not marquee, like Balotelli.
