as i said before i aint scared of playing anyone,,but if the rule comes in where clans adhere to the drawn matches i could blatently stay offline cos im playing turtle just browse give an excuse my comps broke i cant get on and sub dgen/legend in for instance ,,i think a cap on subs is a good idea though

Unfortunately a player could deactivate then reactivate one a sub is made so no better off unless the player is suspended for two fixture sets.

There should be a rule when a player deactivates , instant removal for all season . Never can work out why people deactivate in clans.

Wouldn't work as a player could accidentally deactivate drunk (Whole reason the reactivation came into effect) but if a sub was made after then they reactivated then they could be suspended for two fixture sets (from next time they play, not remove them and wait two sets).

Either you are missing something or I am, pros and uprising are top of all leagues apart from one which is division 2 of the SL where pros didn't have a team and UB are top of it.

So the only team that has challenged the big guns so far this season is UB and we are still a country mile behind them. It is purely down to the short random format of the SL that it has happened and the league was changed to try for that to happen.

In FCL and FBL pros and uprising are on a completely different level to the rest of the clans so nothing has changed from what I can see.

This has nothing to do with the actual issue of teams abusing the unlimited sub rule to try and tactically modify the games which were always meant to be a done by a random draw.

Apparently Unbeatables replaced Uprising at the start of the season so you are definitely missing something m8.....

I say try no subs or swaps for a season. If you have personal issues computer issues, tough!! There is as much a chance of one team having these issues as another so a level playing field for all. We had a good thing going with unlimited swaps and subs until one clan abused it to the max. You can't have a caveat either for computer problems/ personal issues as that WILL also be abused. So if problems do arise then they can be looked at in default.

I personally don't believe it will work, in Snooker's first ever season (before i took some FCL rules to make it better) i had no subs or swaps and we had at least 4-5 defaults per set so i know it won't work.

12 days to sub is better yet i still think that slightly extreme too (10 and i may think about it).

Wether or not it worked clans are being ruined by the constant subs and swaps by your clan dgen. Wether you agree with that or not, if ALL the other clans are saying it what makes the folk in your clan not think it's true. The best option would be to throw that captain out as he shouldn't be allowed to captain anyway but I would genuinely rather a load of defaults where nothing can be manipulated than what we currently have.

Your making it sound like its my fault like i am in charge or something, its not my clan but Ash's clan and whatever he does its up to him as a Captain and i can't make him quit or make him deactivate.

My clans are Snooker Squad (Co-Founder/Co-Captain), Wipeout (Captain), Dollars & Cents (Co-Founder/Co-Captain), Assassins (Founder and Captain), Hustlers Revenge (Captain) and Spin Legends (Founder and Captain).

The only one what didn't work was Spin Legends which was Founded in 2008 and ran for one month roughly then formed Assassins which lasted a year

He isn't blaming you at all m8, he's just saying clans are being ruined by the constant subs and swaps from your clan which they are, something needs to be done, there's no need for all the subs and swaps all the time no other clans do it

As for moving forward how about subs be limited to 2 per fixture stuff the 12/14 rubbish, teams play each other twice but no same players can be selected for the 2nd meeting. That will encourage ALL players within a team the opportunity to play EVERY side. No favouritism, Captains will have to select wisely etc. This would reduce maybe even eliminate the moaning and constant whining over subs as those made can play in the second meeting not their replacement.

Will make for a longer season but it's the same core group of players who play season in, season out so it's to no detriment too the site.

Fair enough, While sometimes i agree regarding subs can be excessive, their is a way to talk to someone and calling people "idiot", "tool" etc aren't the way to go (not saying you by the way) but i think Zante, Zac and Faust are the main 3 who spoke in a nice enough manner which i don't mind. Its just the unneeded abuse what gets me down each time a sub is posted.

Because last season you folded a clan mid-season, a good a right as any to question captaincy. If you can't make a clan last the full season then that is grounds to question if a player should be allowed to captain and has been used to prevent inappropriate players captaining a clan.

Perhaps a limit of 2/3 subs can be made, but it could also lead to players not being subbed out when they are inactive because it might mean they don't have any subs left late on in the fixture. Maybe a combination of what has been discussed, kept as simple as possible, would be best.

No subs for until the Tuesday of the second week, limited to 3 subs per fixture. Unlimited swaps subject to a captain/vc from both sides agreeing.

I think asking every clan to have 16 active members is too much, most if not all clans rotate according to who is in good form/active and try to balance games evenly taking into account activity.

As Zante said ash you folded a clan mid season. Wether it's you or anyone else if you do that you shouldn't be allowed to captain. I never once said you were breaking rules either but you have ruined the fun of the league!!

I tell you all how it is. I am co-captain and i get no stick at all. Myself and ash communicate via fb everyday. Every decision made I agreed with.

We have never had any complaints internally about matches played, our camp is happy with how we manage the fixtures. They are done as fairly as possible so that all players get suigames.

If for any reason a player of our is off line for a few days and unsure as to when returning we ask them. If they are not about, then we simply sub another player in.

We then sub in a player, who happens to be better than the original. Why not? Sub made for legitimate reason. Put in a good player not played in tie already. We have every right to do this, and the same has happened against us at times. It's being competitive. Whether you regard us being third in fcl and in the mix in the others also, that's your perogative.

Going back to the main point, give me stick, pester me. Go for it. I'll be open and honest, but it is absolutely ridiculous that our much respected captain, ash, is being targeted. Shows really who those ruining the site are, your little pack of wolves. Nothing more than bullies. Two of us, let me have your best. Or even better

We as a team have not broken any rules, and that'll continue. So until these rules are changed and inforced by Chris and the admin and or runners, we will continue to captain as we are, ensuring our players have a good time and get enough matchs. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

I seem to remember worse scenarios (e.g. Kev in Cobras, Kenny with website) and clans have folded on Snooker during seasons but come back stronger (FSE and Total Domination although lasted for one season, Wipeout and maybe UT on Pool) and successful while others stay buried.

What i'm trying to say, yes some guys shouldn't be Captains (I thought of two in last few seasons, one which has folded) but some can fold and then be successful, its just luck of the draw really
