Pros would like to state that from now on we will be trying our hardest to put people in matches on the same set so they can try and play them back to back .. it will help in the long run and annoy others along the way.

hey, first of all i apologise for earlier, i just want to explain yh beenjammin said will play both games etc what i thought he meant was play all 8us games first etc i didnt kno he meant one frame counts for both games thats ridiculous i wouldnt ever agree to that , i was rusty fair enough i could have picked the form up in the next games i wouldnt ever agree to playing the way he made it out as, he did not explain it properly tbh he is being shady and i am NEW to pool all i have to say is if he is given the other 4 frames then its ridiculous as i never agreed to playing one frame as 2 thats just insane

There seems no doubt that both players have agreed it so like others have said there is no real reason why the results shouldn't stand but I do think they should play them as separate events as that is how the leagues are set up. From a moral position you should really play each game as a separate event. Because you could easily lose one and win the next. By doing it this way each game is worth 2 points when in all leagues each frame should be worth one point. But really if Phoenix player has agreed it is their own fault for agreeing to it in the first place. Been you should just enjoy whitewashing him twice

It seems he agreed to it not knowing that it was 1 frame 2 points. Who in their right mind would agree to do that with any player, never mind someone who is as competent as been is.

That is what he says now, there is no proof of that or the contrary. The point is if he is not understanding what he is agreeing to, then that is not been's fault. I just don't think you should ever play 2 games at the same time as it defeats the way the leagues are set up in my opinion.

I would do the same. A lot of people I'm sure would. Nothing ridiculous about it, makes complete sense actually. His explanation makes no sense. As he has admitted to agreeing to it I really hope it stands. HE won't make that mistake again which, ultimately, it is his error.

Been's reputation is impeccable, the other guy rage quit. Uprising have the biggest reason to see Pro's lose points, but I'm 100% behind Been on this one. If both players agreed beforehand, surely it HAS to stand? There wouldn't even be questions asked if obnoxious had taken his beating graciously and completed all the games!

I agree with you horse. I wouldn't mind at all if they had 2 matches to play and they had played the 9 frames of 8us, 9us and 8uk after each other or even played 2 separate events after each other but to play 1 game for 2 points in 2 separate events is crazy.

onevisit - are you saying you agree that 1 frame is okay to play for 2 points over 2 events? If so, if form is not on your side you will have lost points where maybe you could have won by playing 9 frames for 9 points. It makes no sense to play like that at all. Playing a combined 9 frames for 9 points will give you more chance of a win. If that was the case why bother playing anymore frames than 1 for 5 points each, 3 games in total.

From a captains point of view I wouldn't be too happy if one of our guys agreed to it, but I'd stand behind their decision 100% if they did!

I would genuinely play both at the same time for two competitions. I also back myself to win against anyone on here on any given night. So wether it be one completion or two each frame involved I reckon I can win the next game. This is obviously what obnoxious thought as well hence the rage quit. You can make it clear to your players what you expect but if I'm playing been and we agree to something in our clan match it should stand irrespective of what my captains says after. The problem for you guys being he has said he agreed to it and I believe he was fully aware what he was agreeing to but regardless he did did agree.
