This looks like a case of certain routes to the server being blocked, maybe by an ISP or possibly a filter at some location. There's no deliberate blocking of an IP address range.
Here is a host statistic service for our sites. It indicates that 99.99% of HTTP requests have been responded fine this year.
http://host-tracker.com/website-uptime-statistics/4818013-4818030/lvuc/
There still can be other issues, eg small blips would not be noticed by this tracker, but could cause someone to be logged out the server, and it does not detail any errors within the game.
However you should certainly be able to ping the server, and see web pages, with a 99.99% success rate.
Anyone still having a problem please try a tracert www.funkypool.com on a command line. Give it a few minutes and please be careful about posting your results as one of the first few results can be your IP address.

Nick for the last two weeks I haven't been able to login, After a week I tried a proxy with a 99% + success rate..
Below is my 2 traces, first one with proxy on and able to play pool, second with proxy off and unable to login to pool game..
I can always play snooker, could sky ip ban pool and not snooker I assume, weird ..

How do you use a proxy if this is the only way around it??
It seemed normal from about 7 last night, but usually it's nothing but problems anytime between 2 and 8pm everyday!!

If this is still happening to you guys, I have a few proposals.
1. When you cannot connect to funkypool.com you could try connecting via the IP. To do this, instead of typing www.funkypool.com into your browser, you would type 5.199.170.4
2. Try accessing the site through private browsing. If you don't know how to open private browsing, please follow this link on how to do it: http://internoobs.wonderhowto.com/inspiration/private-browsing-for-firefox-chrome-internet-explorer-0126965/
3. Ring up your ISP and tell them your exact problems. Tell them the website you're trying to access, the times you're trying to access it and that you can access it through a proxy at these times. (they will likely just shoo you away. But no hard in trying)
4. You check your logs on your router. In here you're checking your firewall and network logs. If you don't know how to do this I will gladly help or I'm sure another trusted member on the site will also help you. Please take a screenshot of your logs but do not post them in the thread. Please send them in an offline message to either me or another member of staff and we will evaluate it.
5. Restore your router to factory settings. (go to your router page, normally 192.168.0.1) This will reset it back to how it was the day that you got it. You never know what might have changed in here which could be blocking you from FP. A complete reset on your networking devices isn't going to harm you. But please remember if you have and parental controls on there blocking other sites or forwarded any ports then these will be reverted. This means you will need to change your settings again. Also, please note that your username and password to log in will be reset back to factory defaults. You can normally find your username and password on the back of your router.
6. Use Googles DNS instead of your automatic DNS. Again, if you're not comfortable doing this on your own then I'm sure another member will gladly help you.
Follow this link here if you are sure that you know what you're doing: https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using

^Havent read above, but will now^
good, im still stuck..java installs, but when i go to java page to verify java, and then after i click verify, at top of page pops up
Java(TM) is required to display some elements on this page then lil bit to the right of that shows (Install plug-in)
Any ideas? I have installed java several times, manually deleted any folders that have (java, oracle, or sun) restarted, and re-installed over 5 times...still getting this problem.

__sniper__, it certainly seems you have a Java issue rather than a funkypool specific issue. The first thing you should do is ensure you can get the verify Java on the java.com page. Here is a the proper way to reinstall:
- Go to control panel
- Add remove programs
- Remove all the java versions you see (there may be more than one).
- Clear browser histories including downloaded program files.
- Reboot (even if you're not told to)
- Then visit http://www.java.com for a new, clean, install.
Note that the installed Java version should match the browser version, eg a 32 bit browser requires a 32 bit Java version installed, and a 64 bit browser requires a 64 bit Java version.
If this doesn't resolve it I suspect it is a browser or anti-virus setting. Temporarily disabling your anti-virus and trying in a few different browsers might give you some idea what is causing the block.

23:05 Thu 5 Dec 13 (GMT) [Link] I have done all above with installing java, and when i hit the verify it just shows i need to install java (again) i will try it again just for you nick, i have also tried disabling firewall, as sometimes it says (may be your firewall is blocking, trying back up connection?) something like that, and firewall isnt the issue.

But then how would a proxy get around this error?
I don't quite understand because if it's Java then surely it's system related not network related?

blueberry - I'm a bit stumped. You're only having the problem in Firefox?
Funky snooker and pool are both on the same machine and IP address so it makes no sense that you can access one but not the other. The tracert show you can reach the website without an issue. Possibly something has gone corrupt in your Java setup, so a complete reinstall might help (please see the steps in the previous post).

It might also be a network issue of some sort related to funkypool but it is very odd that sniper can't access the verify Java on Java.com. I suggest it would be best for him to get this working first as it takes funkypool specific issues out the equation.
