That was what it took, start over fresh.

Just a LOT more detail to that, but raptorman can can chime in on that bit im sure..

Some of his system dll files had been deleted and some corrupted and in turn it was a case of getting a Win 7 ISO from microsoft an making a Bootable USB then using his licence from microsoft and doing a complete fresh install of his OS.

Luckily we managed to back up what we needed from his HD and reformatted it for the install. A lengthy process to say the least via remote with drivers etc but a good outcome.

Here we go again same problem not responding for the last few days around 1600hrs. Then later on have no problems!

Here we go again, last few days same problem connection failing around 1600, then no problems later on again!

Nearly 4 hours of continual "Connection Failing" Jimfaebod is not responding.

Only on pool as all other internet facilities work fine.

Same problem, same time, different day!

Logged out of tournament again due to connection failing

Been logged out yet again another few times!

Been in touch with BT help and they have said that it is a website issue, however I pointed out to them that there are still plenty of members online! 67 at present.

Another 3 hours wasted of continually trying to remain logged in on pool after being logged out yet again!

At least you can log in Jim, now I can't even play with a proxy last few weeks

If I uninstall and try to re-install it says java's already installed...

Then I try to open pool and it says I need java, fgs, its driving me nuts, near for giving up..........

Another tournament DQ due to being logged out. Day 3 again of connection issues!
