one team had earned i think it was 24 points and conceded just 8. Another had earned a similar amount but in reverse. That first team has had every lead they had in the fixture sets halved. You can't say that's not now going to have a negative impact on them.

Working hard to earn points only to have them scrapped is a bit deflating no matter how you look at it. The points did exist, scrapping them doesn't mean they never existed. That is fact, you can't just say because it's not so now that it never was. By that great logic Jemma never had an account because she's scrapped that now (clearly not).

Games were played in the spirit of fairness that they would count, they've now been removed in the fallacy that it will make a difference while the changes that actually make a difference go on in the background untold.

It's not equal because you're taking more points away from some clans that you are others.

And that it is the start of the season is a load of rubbish, that's why it would be best to restart since it wasn't even a week into the proper season. Games had started, therefore you would be expected to finish those games the same. They've been changed from one team clearly winning in a few cases to now level. That does affect players and to say so is to defy all logic and reason.

It is only fact when backed up with evidence, not opinion. You say that it the killer existed in the previous season and now it is a new one under onevisit so that should count in this one. But the other games from that previous season still count towards this. So by your own logic no games from previous seasons should count in this and therefore you would have to start brand new with no results. Now that is a fact

Saying that scrapping killer during fixture 1 changes the course of the season or affects the credibility of the league is a huge stretch. It's more like removing one drop from a full glass of water

The only people to gain by starting again is the ones that have lost, they get a 2nd chance, what difference does it make by starting again, there still wont be killer and only the other game types will count, which is what is happening, your saying one clan will lose 24 points, thats 24 points they wont regain by starting again or look at it another way, its 24 points the other clans won't get the chance to win, no point restarting just to play all the other game types when they are already being played at the moment, totally pointless.

They haven't earned these points or lost them, killer does not exist in the fbl, it is no different from when a clan folds, all other teams lost the points they gained against that clan, the teams who have won large lose more than those who won by less or lost. This is no different so please don't try and twist it to try and make it something bigger than it is. That drop of water that seb has mentioned

Exactly the case ab. We discuss ifs and buts now and the end of the season but the fact is its not included for what I think are very valid reasons. I seem to spending a fair chunk of my time addressing a completely mute subject. I get some are annoyed but on balance the same amount of folk are delighted. A lot of people will not post on this thread as they just don't want to get involved. I cannot please all of the people all of the time and I do apologise to those who feel hard done by but can we move on from this please. I again stress there is not a single brain cell in my head contemplating re-adding it back this season. Repeating the same statement but worded differently is making no difference this season. Could we have the same discussion at the end of the season WITH the other leagues included but for now resign ourselves?

There will be no fbl individuals this season. Again run a separate event but fbl is running no individuals.

Well that one drop is actually between a third and a quarter of the glass. So its a bit more than that but the analogy is a good effort for those not paying any real heed. Neverind, thought we had moved on from changes with no point but clearly not :)

I'm not twisting it and I love the fact you've dropped the word fact . When a team folds they choose to have their points removed. There is no choice here so I'll stop when you quit covering it over. If the league still had its credibility then people wouldn't have asked for a restart or to pull out of the league or generally see the league as a mess. I don't see it happening in other leagues which maintain credibility. You yourselves have acknowledged it to some extent so good luck with the wasted effort.

Nobody loses out on a reset because you at least know the format won't change again to suit what is said by those who get listened to and have influence

I think you're all forgetting: The FBL season started before onevisit took over. And it started with killer games being played. Now for onevisit to come in and disregard the killer results already received isn't credible. Best thing to do would to restart the league under onevisits format. You can't start a season and then change the rules and formats.

Like zante has said, 72 points just wiped off the board like they never happened? And getting rid of two killer games doesn't change the amount of fixtures we have. If teams are moaning about the amount of killer games they have to organise, then they shouldn't have entered two teams into the SL. Besides, 2v2 killer is an absolute breeze to organise anyway!

I officially scrap the seasons score so far. The previous seasons games now don't count at all.

I start a new season afresh but to make my life easier with no time to throw something together I will use the fixture schedule already in place. I will make life easier further by using the fixture lists already used. I will then make life extremely simple by keeping the scores from the fixtures played as they have played games that now exist in this completely new league and I'm happy none were played in the spirit of we still have killer to play ie everyone tried to win so are a fair reflection. This will allow us to fall in line with other leagues schedules and properly assess all aspects of the league at a more manageable time.
