Another silly rule, should just be another window surely. Well tbh shouldn't be any windows, you start a season with a team, you finish a season with the same team.

There should definately be some kind of window or a cap on the number of times people can move. IMO i think that the FBL needs restructuring again back to a similar format years ago. In the most recent seasons it has seemed to me like there have been to many changes for the sake of change.

agreed frog

ash when youve run teams a while
you will realise some people lose alot and dont want to play again teams cant really start a season and finish with the same team

i wouldve thought ud no this in previous clans uve been in

a window or pass is required
i myself like the free pass idea
players can move only once, but not till half way through the season and cannot play against the same team they left.

also leagues to start and finish at the same time within reason
to avoid players leaving and joining other clans is causes chaos

Yeah transfers before a season not a problem, during one, causes animosity and entices friction between teams. If players aren't happy then they have 3 options, remain loyal to the team and cause and complete season, 2. Leave and support the team on the sidelines, 3. Deactivate and return, which is what ppl are doin anyways. My opinion, I can see why there is a window doesn't mean i have to agree with it.

So, for example:
I am currently at Fighting Eagles and I fall out with Paul (the captian) after the 1st fixture set. I am given no choice but to play for a captian I don't like because I can't move to another team. Seems silly in my eyes and has nothing to do with loyalty...

I would have thought or hoped the player could put their differences aside, the player should play and represent their team not just their captain.

It still happens though. We're only human with different characteristics and personalities. I've done stupid things in my past that I regret and moving clans gave me a chance to start a fresh.

I think I will revert back to one change per season at any point the season. If you play for one team in fixture sets then you cannot play till the next set for another clan. However the transfer must be made before the next set are released.

Once you have swapped there is no going back and there is no exception to the rule. If you leave a clan and join a new one and don't want to play for them anymore, pretty much your season over so think before you swap.

The fewer restrictions the better! If I had a player that wanted to play for another clan, the last thing I'd want is for them to remain at Uprising! I believe they should be able to move at any time they like. I do however think the "one change" rule is good, as it would weaken every teams identity if several players was hopping around all season.

I'm not clear on the FBL rules at the moment (because they have change so much!) but I think that a one change per season rule would be sufficient. But if a member is removed by the clan leader or vice and then the player moves to another clan, are we assuming that this would not count as the 'one change' because they personally didn't request to be moved from the team?

No it is one change a season so if you are removed you have one more shot of not being removed from a clan. Why I suggest you choose your clan wisely. This stops any ambiguity on did he/ she leave or where they removed. If you cant get it right after two goes in a fairly short season then you are doing something wrong and perhaps clans is not for you.

I understand this may effect someone who feels it unfair down the road but I don't believe in league runners discretion as such, its there easy for all to understand and follow. My thoughts on any transfer or removal have no input to the process and and there is no chance of bias towards my own clan as was before.

the only exception is if a clan folds and you are a current member, the one change does not count s this may not be any of your doing.

agree great rule fed up trying to get a team together give people matches and they leave to join another clan

another rule should be players should only leave a team if theyve completed all fixtures theyve been in fed up with players leaving without playing games theyve been scheduled to play fed up having to use my subs when players leave without finishing there matches

I disagree cke mate, I'd rather have my teams matches played by players who actually want to be there, than someone who has not intention of staying so the score in their eyes is irrelevant.

I think the swapping of players is good, signing a player mid-season not the greatest of fan but can see in certain circumstances this should be explored. I believe you finish what you've started, same applies on here.

I think a player should only be allowed to move on IF with JUST cause and not 'just because they want too'.

Transfer Window for me, gives the players a break from clan games and you get to move clans during the week only.

Problem with the pass is you need to remember who has used this pass (unless you use a spreadsheet) so quite a lot of names to remember.

I don't mind which way is implemented but the Window is easier for the runners.

Its fine. No really that much work. Mark it on the website with a simple edit and its there. Do we really need a break in a short season, short answer is no. This means no captain is EVER screwed over by a player joining then not in the end. Once you commit thats it, no going back and no one upset.

I now have in place 3 people who are well respected and willing to help on the running/ administration of this. I have also had a fantastic amount of help on a great looking website. The FBL league is definitely alive and kicking.

Ash,nothing personel but you of all New Captain's
shoud remmber that just a few weeks ago,you had your clan capped temoraly. All becouse you had a problem with one player wanting to leave and take one are two with him.and this has been a problem with many clans at one time are another. We just had same problems with a couple player's.It's well,if i leave so and so will leave also.I think the new rule stating that if you decide to leave a clan, after fixtures have started you are just done till next season. To me the new rule would make the players in question have to make a big desicion before just up and leaving. My opion only.
