No, ab, im not willing to step in, as is the case with most players in the fbl, and I appreciate that onevisit is willing to,
but changing the format mid-season isn't merely stepping in.
It's more like stepping over.
Furthermore, I dont want to "add" anything. I just want what was already in place.

To remove killer can not have any impact as it is the first fixture set, for those who lose points it is points that never existed as in the new format killer doesn't exist. So it is the remaining games that will count. Like seb has stated above it would be different if we were further into the season but as it is fixture set 1, all fixtures will be completed under same format so it makes absolutely no difference. Fair play to onevisit for stepping up and realising there was an issue with 3 leagues and too many fixtures, he could easily have tried to run as it was, but he has taken the sensible approach and removed the one fixture type that would have no impact on the season. I like others would have happily seen the FBL shelved for a season but at least this compromise with now only playing each other once should mean it is a success.

mid season it is fixture set one with the majority of killer games unplayed

Either way, this discussion is not helping much for the league to be honest. onevisit is running it this season, nobody else has volunteered. So his rules count.
Let's just play the games?
Let's just play the games?

That would be far too sensible and snooker like, you should know by now on pool we fill 4 or 5 pages arguing, only for the person who is running the league to stick to their decision anyway

the impact has already been pointed out, positions have changed according to more than one post
and :"mid season it is fixture set one with the majority of killer games unplayed"
Fine, I'll re-word that : during the season
My point hasn't changed.

Except the impact is negligible. We are not changing the outcome of past fixtures and everyone is affected under the same conditions.
When you say "we signed up" for 8+ killer games, that's not entirely true.
The new FBL schedule (lots more fixtures simultaneously) was only revealed well after we signed up. So we didn't actually sign up for billions of killer games.

It can not have an impact as under onevisits tournament it never exists. You can make any statistics you want as others have, but the fact is if it is never there and all games are completed in the same format, it cannot have any impact. That is a statement that is based on facts

We have been robbed, because we would've swept the remaining killer games!!

Helping the league was my aim, by preventing it from being so dramatically changed DURING season.
But heads are too hard, people only understand what they think will further their own point it seems.

Thats why the rule was changed, was going to be unfair on the rest if you and pete joined forces

games were played, they certainly did exist, I give up

The only change has been to a FBL league in a format decided by onevisit. The other option was no league. So not sure how complaining about someone elses format is helping, surely backing him for taken over the running of the league is more important.

They don't exist under onevisits format for a league, thus can have no impact on the league.

people have posted that dropping killer results did change outcomes I just pointed it out on this very page, only understand what helps eh?
and keith, your last post there, that's the type of hard headedness I'm talking about , the one above it too, you know im referring to the season when it started, not when onevisit took over

No, I understand what you're saying. I just disagree that it's important. The same conditions apply to everyone equally. That's why it's fair. We are not changing past fixtures, because all fixtures are ongoing. The deadline is in November.

look back at what you said, you didnt disagree with how imortant it is, you disagreed, period. Last one this time, just couldnt let that stand.

The season before onevisit took over has gone, the only thing that exists is an FBL league in onevisits format and that is not hard headedness it is just pointing out the facts that others choose not to look at or twist to whatever point they want to make. With it being at the start it has no impact as it is across all clans and everyone will now complete all games in the format chosen by onevisit.
