Just a quick thought in my head so feel free to knock it or mix it up a bit, be nice tho lol.

1, 1 league (Called FCL due it being the longest running)

2, 2 Divisions of 6 teams, my thought for this is to incorporate 2 formats, each team would need to play twice and I'm trying to keep the league the same length in time as is present, 2 Divisions could also give the so-called smaller clans something to play for instead of getting killed every week.

3, 2 clans go up and obviously 2 would go down, another thought is to have 2nd bottom of Div1 playoff against 2nd in Div 2 to decide where they play the following season.

Format
1, Each clan could play each other twice throughout the season using 2 different formats, using the current FCL and FBL formats, for this I would suggest putting the FBL format back to points per frames.
2, 2 fixtures each fortnight, one of each format against 2 different teams.

The only problem I can see with doing the above is this would reduce clan fixtures dramatically and people are always shouting for more games.

I think less leagues and less fixtures could possibly put the enjoyment back into clan leagues, might even get players like myself back into clans.

Don't all of the current leagues exist for a reason? Being that there was a want for more leagues and this is why clans enter?

Was there a want ?, I don't remember people shouting for more leagues, In my opinion they were only created to try to outdo what was running and most clans have different opinions on them but feel they have to enter, 3 leagues was enough to stop me playing in them, be interesting to know how many clans would like to see less leagues and possibly reduced to one.

I don't know, it was a genuine question as I wasn't active on here when the newer leagues were introduced.

It's definitely something to consider though, although I'm not sure what guys of the current set-up will be around post-season so it'd be the kind of thing that would need to be decided up front in advance.

I think two leagues personally but three is quite a lot for most clans as you have fcl league. Cup. Fbl league. Cup. SL. Players champ plus 3 events for those who play snooker.

I believe that just FCL and Super League will be enough with the Cup and Players Championship.

Or if we go back to one league then FCL league, cup and the players championship

I think 2 Leagues too: FCSL & FBL (not 2 Divisions)

Merge the FCL with SL (the events should be rewarded included 7 ball), keep the FBL but increase the frame amounts, 6 is nothing. Almost a waste of time. Takes longer to arrange than to actually play lol.

we had 2 leagues two season ago when the SL format wasnt appropriate enough for clans , and players wanted to play more games. so i think 3 leagues is good enough. than if u dont want to enter in one of them dont do it, simple.

Also dont think that clan leagues are the problem why there are so few ranked games like some say. Some thought micros were the problem, but now we see that the number of players in tourneys are the same as before. So dont take any action that could drop the number of people playing this game.

With so many clan games going on players don't have much time to do anything else on this site, theres far to much pressure on players to get clan fixtures played, lets be honest, players can have up to 6 or 7 fixtures in a fortnight, they login here and its constant chasing or being chased to play clan games, if they aint in the mood to play clan games they just browse to avoid any hassle because if they login to the game window and say "I aint in the mood" it gets posted all over the forums by players trying to gain the advantage for defaults, some clan players sometimes don't even know who they are meant to be playing or what format because theres so much going on, I've seen players posting asking captains to remind them, also with 3 leagues I'm seeing clans pushing more for subs because they are desperate to complete the games, the pressure on captains is crazy, tell me clans are great fun and a good laugh at the moment, I might not believe you but I'll shut up lol.
Now some people will maybe disagree with all the above but I'm pretty sure some will think yep thats spot on.

I'll shut up for the time being.

Just thought I'd add that I think one of the reasons some players don't get involved with clans is they look at all thats going on in clans, the hassle, the arguments, the pressure to play so many games, they see 3 different leagues with all the same teams playing different formats and they say "nah its all too confusing".

Now I'll shut up

I take it you don't play any other online games then, PS3, xbox etc, or do they have clans ?, I don't know, I don't play them.

No ones suggesting that clans get binned so you keep logging in mate, I'm just saying that with 3 leagues its too serious and needs the fun put back into it.

I agree sort of:

There is too much going on, players don't know if they are coming or going, that is very true. The amount of matches is ONLY a problem if players store up their matches or fail to actually organize it

Also some players don't know which matches they have, true, but then isn't that their Captains responsibility and not the League Runners. IF a team is struggling with the amount of matches then don't enter ALL the competitions, that being said any player/individual struggling should have the confidence and acknowledgement that they are not on their own and have their captains support. When I sign new players to clans, I do not throw them in the deep end, they are entered in to 2 leagues then gradually in to the 3 and so on.

IF there were an easier way for players to see and keep updated then I think that would help out a lot more than clicking on 3 separate websites for pretty much the same reason. Merging the 3 leagues into 2 would/could benefit but merge the websites in to 1.

Also admittedly there are way too many arguments, mis-interpretations, insinuations going on in the CLAN World, usually all to try and score points over one another. Footy managers call it 'mind games', if some cant play it then don't join in and for the life of God, take nothing personally. It's to motivate, encourage, worry, scare, get one over their opponents. It's harmless and admin/mods need to remember that too. We are competitive, it's a league not a McD's party.

I can only speak from the perspective of my own clan, but Uprising aren't in favour of less leagues, unless there is a way to do it and still have as many games. It's a struggle giving all our players enough games, but we can just about manage it with three leagues. We don't have any players that feel they have too many fixtures, and pretty much everyone would be happy to play more games.

All three leagues was contested right until the end last season, and I thought it was the best season in years because of this. I fail to see the benefits of sacking off 2 successful formats. I also think that cutting down would punish us for putting an active team together that wants to play matches. If 3 is too many leagues for your clan, only enter 1 or 2. If you're a clan player and you feel under pressure to play games, don't join a clan!
