Can someone tell me why FE get away with what they do?

Incredibly difficult to get games done against, incredibly difficult to get any sort of response from any of their captians or VCs regarding subs etc., incredibly difficult to get replies from their players and leaving 75% of their games to get played 2 days before deadline.

Makes the whole fixture a nightmare...and they do it every fixture set!

That's a bit harsh, had the vc role for 6 mins and you start openly criticizing a team which has been around many seasons. _pro__frog_ is very active and tries his best and kingdadcool does what he can.

Instead of criticizing and wanting everything done like tomorrow grow some tolerance and patience. IF you are not happy then speak with them offline rather than slating them publicly and just so your voice can be heard.

They have just lost a v/c/captain in fattmikee, he did a hell of a lot, cut them some slack.

Not a bit harsh at all. Just a very open and clear observation that any clan knows. It has nothing to do with me being VC, I'd have put this on here even if I wasn't. We've had a two week period to get games done and they've only managed four games across the two fixtures?? Ash, not a personal attack here, but you like to try and get games done earlier rather than leaving them to deadline weekend/day (as do most captains).

Everyone knows that trying to get a sub from them is like trying to find rocking horse poo. Whenever you ask for one, they just ignore it constantly. Whenever you message their players to arrange games, you hardly ever get a reply from the majority.

Everyone knows. Must be the most dreaded fixture of the season for most clans.

Maybe if your players communicated with their opposition better or even the Captains/Vices, yes fair enough some players are not the quickest to respond but instead of criticizing offer some solutions. Make swaps, subs (are unlimited) in order to complete as many as possible.

Sometimes sending a message and waiting for a reply is not the best plan of action, think on your toes and try to accommodate both teams instead of just the one.

They are your opponents not your enemy, work together...after all same common goal get fixture complete. Deadline's approaching no time for sentimentality, I'm sure all matches can get played.

I'm pretty sure that my players are quite capable of trying to arrange game times and to send opponents messages, ash. I'm not sure, but up until a couple of days ago, dex hadn't had a reply from his opponent (and I don't know if he still has.) We had it in the FBL fixture with their opponents not responding to messages, we'd post on the thread asking for someone to just give them a nudge and a reminder about their games and if you have a look, we have already made swaps against them to get games played. I asked yesterday for a sub and it's been completely ignored. Just think it's wrong how a team can leave all their fixtures until the last weekend of the deadline and then expect the other team to start making subs for players that have been active and made an effort to get the games done.

Clearly not, otherwise they would have notified you of any problems which you should have communicated through to myself, Paul or Mike (before he left).



The said player has been online recently and hopefully you have had some form of communication from them.



Another false statement, as I have said previously, all of my games were completed in the first week verses you, as had a few other players (FBL and GSC). I'll reiterate, don't tar us all with the same brush.

I'm not digging a hole at all. You've selectively quoted....quite easy to try and belittle someone in doing so.

I speak to players through PM. For instance, when we had you in the GSC, bob22cat was struggling to get his straight games played with flash_is_bac because flash wasn't replying. I had to post on your thread twice asking for someone to nudge flash for us and on the second time, I got some ignorant reply from Mike saying to get hold of him on Facebook via his profile?!

He came online a few hours after the post asking for a sub was posted and apparently he can only play Sunday afternoon. Out of 2 weeks, he can only play deadline day afternoon...

Also, if you have a look at the original post I put on here, you'll see I said 75% of the games haven't been played. We've swapped now three times (including one after Paul said he'd be unable to play Johnny (RW8)), and subbed once and what have you exactly done to help the situation?

Maverick, some captains are complete idiots. Some don't talk, some talk far far far too much. Some don't make subs, some make tactical subs and some post ALL THE TIME they are dealing with it but are I fact too busy writing another post about something else. Some will only play one or two players as they have the fear. The point being we all know these certain captains make the league less easy to get done and a lot less enjoyable, unfortunately though no rules are broken so we just have to put up with their crap. Grit your teeth and get on with it as these guys don't have anything better to do and it will just drive you crazy.

P.s. anyone who believes I may be talking about them then it says more of what you think of your own abilities than what my opinion could say.

Furthermore, your statements are mostly false and you've contradicted on the odd occasion. I could sit here all day and point out all theses problems with what you're posting, but I'm not because you are just going to come back with a silly, not very well thought out reply. Not every sub is a tactical one, in fact I've made 1 maybe 2 max. Everyone does it they just use a cover up as 'my connections knackered' so it were perfectly fine the last 23 hours you've been online. Those gremlins must be telepathic.

Writing another post yeah usually called moving on with their affairs should try it one day instead of living in the past. (recent killer etc)

Worth discussing.

The best format would be 5 frames of each as FCL is the only league most actually take seriously. Add the bonuses but not award for a golden break,

I personally dont like the idea of merging pool and snooker leagues, they are separate entities and should remain so. The 3 leagues (pool) could work as 1 league and have a different game mode each fixture just to keep it original.

Each to their own, merging all the pool leagues would work, would reduce the confusion with what format each match constitutes.
