This was in discussion before regarding anyone can sub in on last day of fixtures unless the capt says otherwise. Im sure another capt said they are opting out of this , i am too. No subs for MB are to be made without capt or vices permission.

I said the same for Phoenix Storm - ONLY subs made by Captain or Vices Apply.

It was decided that the rule would not be made opt in / opt out.

Instead, Captains/Vices should make sure clans know by posting on their own thread. The suggestion was too add a little piece on the end of the fixtures on your thread simply saying "subs to be made by ...."

If a capt has done that , posted on thread and on here but the game is played because a player has been pressured into it (which does happen) is the game void ?

I'm inclined to say no, but in that exceptional circumstance we may intervene. However, in that situation it would count against you in any default decision.

The easiest thing is to make sure players know who can sub/swap by posting on your thread. That way everyone knows where they stand. If a player doesn't listen then that's the clan's issue and not the leagues.

No, what I am saying is that it should be down to the clans who can sub & swap.

The current rule offers flexibility. If clans want to remove that internally then that is fine, but that is a matter for them to deal with.

It makes more sense for the rule to be open and then clans can internally delegate than for the rule to be closed completely.

I do think if a team has clearly stated they will operate with Captains and Vices only including Deadline day subs then the opposition should respect that and should they breach it then the match be made void.

That would deter teams from feeling they can manipulate any player and goad them into playing without their Captain or Vices consent and knowledge.

Haha. Read what he is saying. If your player wants to sub on last day then they aren't restricted, no one is saying you MUST make a sub. If a player comes on from another clan asking you to sub then tell your player to say no. The league is not asking you to make a sub, just allowing if you want to.

In my view Subs should only be made by captains and vices for the whole fixture . This rule about players subbing themselves in on last day is silly in many ways .

Absolutely ridiculous. If you don't have faith/confidence in your own players ability to make a decision, you shouldn't have that player in your clan. It's a total non issue anyway, as any captain can control their own clan how they see fit.

Any self imposed ruling that is restrictive to getting games played, should be punished heavily in the default process.
