Is anyone willing and able to do a new banner picture for the FCL website?

The sizes are 956 x 246 and 956 x 146

Please could it match in with the current banner background colour and also be quite a professional and mature design!!

Is there anything else you think we could do to the fcl to make it a better season next season? All suggestions are welcome but please remember we haven't always got time to reply to every single thing straight away so be patient with us and don't allow it to transcend into arguing please.

Only thing which could be implemented is an automatic sub policy so should a player be offline minimum 5 days without any contact with League Runners and their Captains then they obliged to sub them out. They can be subbed back in further in Week 2 but not permissible to play the same opponent.

Also any team which falls foul or below the team size minimum limit automatically forfeit or their current fixtures are deemed null and void. This will save wasting teams time,and resources or in this case 'lack of'.

Other than that, Leagues run very smoothly, maybe could be a Captains & Vices league where i can happily sit at the bottom and hold up the table

I'd not change anything. Ash's idea isn't a bad one, tbh. Nothing wrong with being offline for a certain amount of time, but if you don't inform anyone - it does put the fixture at risk.

I think with the 3 leagues, we have a perfect amount of games to play to keep all 16 players in your clan happy. When the FBL is synchronized to the other 2 leagues - everything will be perfect for me.

if u get to within 10 points of another clan u get a bonus point

auto subs u might as well have no captains as u might sub one in i dont want subbed in

I would like prefer people to play each other twice, whether it be 2 divisions or a long season

Cutting clan sizes would create an extra few teams too...16 is overkill.

Bring back the cup.

FCL format is perfect as is would like to see the other 2 leagues tweaked so you have 3 totally different leagues, my suggestion for it would be

Super League
3 frames of each 8 ball, 9 ball and UK 1pt for each + 1 frame of straight 2 pts would make it interesting as it's only the odd 10 players in the league who are straight demons most games would be really fun and even if you get a demon it's only 1 frame to watch them potting.
Liked the format with the way the league goes into knockout adds a good twist.

The usual 2 x 8 games of 8 ball, 9 ball and UK + a 6 man killer with 2 frames played
1st 3 pts
2nd 1 pt
Making 8 pts available in the 2 frames of killer exactly the same as all the other games and any result possible, subs could be made between games if needed but do the 2 frames consecutively so you aren't having to organise 2 games.

Think now the seasons are finishing it would be great to get the 3 leagues formats sorted out so they compliment each other and are all totally different and aren't competing.

I think the cup does need bringing back but would that then make too many fixtures if the fbl brought a cup out aswell ??

for certain the cup should be brought back, i really liked its format and the games always were tight there.

Also i would like an Arcade competition (maybe stands as a cup for the Superleague) as there are quite a few players who play them

I think we tried arcade before in the super league and the general consensus was it was terrible in a clan competition as its a game of bingo

i love the cups on here so i would like to see both FCL cup and FBL cup back

I agree im just thinking if fcl releases two fixtures .. fbl releases two fixtures sl releases two fixtures both cups release one fixture that's 8 fixtures possibly to play over two weeks ???

I'm not too bothered about the FBL cup in my opinion FCL will always be the main league and the others are supporting acts plus I think the FCL format is the only one that supports being shortened to a 5 v 5 and actually makes it more open to surprises.

Even tho I'm outta the equation now, would it make sense to maybe release fcl and cups 1 week,then fbl and sl a week later. my thinking behind this is sl and cups are quicker, therefore paired with bigger fixtures.......or have i got that wrong? :s
but whichever combination, it would mean only 2 deadlines a week instead of 4

yes you are right there mate .. but it would still be that at one point there could be 8 fixtures at any one time to be played

was just a suggestion, and if ya wanted all 4 finishing season at the same time, then give 3 weeks for the '1st' final set

With the clan sizes the amount of games aren't a problem, you get 1 from each league per fortnight generally which is a couple of hours worth of playing time.
The only problem was the Super League killer games where 2x 2v2 games took longer to arrange and get going than to play and didn't fit in with the league format (hence my suggestion for the change in formats)

Personally I prefer having them all released together, all the same deadline so you can get your games arranged straight away and job done.
Different deadlines make captains prioritise the one with the deadline closest too.
