Completely agree with both of those points. It's about whether the games could have realistically gotten played. The point about 8 different players getting a game played at some point is extremely weak to say the least. I think most people can see that avoiding a default with underdogs in that 3-4 week span was unrealistic if not impossible. If anyone could have done it, it wouldve been the teams without sny other defaults...

What it comes back to once again is that in the current format each and every match is not worth exactly the same.
A match against one opponent might give you an expectation of an overall score at one point in the season and a different expectation of an overall score at another point in the season depending on circumstance. That is not right really.
Ideally every match should be worth exactly the same against any opponent at any point in the season for it to be a fair and level playing field throughout.

The games can now be found here...

Apologies for not having the fixtures formatted for simple cut and paste but there have been many last minute changes to the line-ups again.

what a dumb rule
There is no rule as such that covers the situation explained.
The option is always there to refuse to make the sub, hope your player of choice is available to complete the fixture, and settle for the default if they are not.
The default decision would then take into account all of the pros and cons from the actions of both teams during the whole two weeks.

we have players that log on see if they have opponent online if not go offline dont have to stay there all night waiting for opponent guys offline for 10-14 days have explained to me why there offline

I hadn't looked into the subbing before posting - I just assumed it was a mutually agreed (by Captains/Vices anyway) sub.
I am not sure there is anything to stop it within the rules inherited.
In many circumstances the rule relaxation achieves its aim in allowing games to get played.
I guess the only solution is to leave your own team in no doubt about what they are to do in any game/subbing situation going into the last day (deadline day). An offline message to each person.
If you don't do that then you would be accepting that they are free to do what they see as right.

most experienced players wouldve done chris, but abbie is new to clans and was talked into it
no disrespect to anyone, but it really means bigger and better teams just get lesser teams to jump when they say and leave games to deadline and take advantage of this rule
totally lost on how much time you spend to get a game played just for someone to do this
is laughable

Was she talked Into it? Or was it a simple message asking her to sub in.
I understand you frustration Craig as I myself know you was on for the majority of the day but it is about getting games played, you yourself posted that you would be on until 6 then that was it I think had it been the other way round and it was gaz that made that post you would of done the same thing.
But as I said I understand your frustration.

Yeah i totally agree Matty, if boot were on the other foot.
We had 2 matches to play on deadline day too, i had arranged for an alternate player to sub in should our player not be available 48 hours before deadline day and made it known no one would be expected to sub in otherwise. In this case you stated you were gone and done with waiting around till around 6pm, UB's were unaware you were still loitering around, maybe you said it try provoke a reaction, this time backfired.
Id had done exactly the same as UB's did, no one needs permission and should an eligible player be online and eligible then the same common goal would still be met, all matches complete. Id rather that than a team not even bothering.
Happy Dayz

As far as I see it, Craig said that he would not be on after 6, so he got subbed out. Simple.
As for the SS and pro defaults, it seems simple in my eyes, the pros must have sent more information in which resulted in them getting a higher score.
If SS had have compiled a case that showed that they had eligible players online 24/7, then there would have been a clear 15-0, but obviously this was not the case, they gave in partial information and resulted in a 7-0.
Anyways, I just thought I would throw my comments in
