The things he did, what I've been through,
Until very recently, I'd have let it go.
Now I know the truth, that was not my drink.

They did a blood test, you didn't think of that,
Out of character, thats what everyone said,
So now the tests back, Chappy was spiked,
I am truly annoyed, you left me for dead.

I don't forget, those who hurt me,
And now you are placed, onto a list of three,
Devise the plan, you'll beg for mercy,
All this because, you didn't think I was worthy.

Life seemed hard, almost too much,
But having good friends, to keep in touch.
We all need mates, to give us a slap,
And when you are on a rise, to give you a clap.

I gotta thank everyone, who has helped me out,
Without those folk, I would be nout,
They pulled me through, right to the ends,
We are even planning, how best to exact revenge.

After losing everything, only a few people know,
I went down a wrong road, I was at an all time low,
Lost my house, my girl, my car and nearly my job,
All because rumours were believed by a bloody k....

Life is treating me better, I now walk with a smile,
Happy thoughts are back, been off my pills for a while,
Onwards and upwards, my life is now sound,
And lest we forget, what goes around comes around.

When you wake up, the time is near,
You nip to the fridge, for a festive beer,
Opened my pressies, got the stuff I need,
Christmas is always fun, lots of drinks indeed.

Presents are wrapped
The Christmas tree is green
I'm bad at poems
Chocolate

The turkey was cooked
And I have eaten
Drank beer and wine
Now Im sitting with the heating
It might be cold and my face round and fat
But I've just woke up with a cat as my hat
I'm looking in the fridge for something to eat
Not much left but butter and a kebab

oh what a xmas morning it was
I woke to a barrage of noise
as the wrapping was torn and thrown
smiling with eyes filled
at all the presents I received

the phone rang many times
my children and grand children all surprised
so intrigued and pleased
this is going to be a great day
off I went to get dressed

out I go in the car to see my family
in I walked to see my eldest granddaughter
dressed as a princess with wand and tiara
how beautiful she is
kisses and cuddles exchanged
off I go

I'm off to my next port of call
to see Santa at the door
what surprise to see Santa !
in I walked to barrage of thank yous and cuddles
my middle granddaughter
surrounded in toys

then I set off for my last journey of the day
my youngest granddaughter
oh what a site
playing with wrapping paper and ribbon
I'm sure this is what xmas is all about

at lunch
I mentioned a little phrase
as my children grew up, I always did say
they were reminded on this great day
that every child in the world wouldn't be so lucky
spare a thought for these children
to be told father we repeat these words too
I'm so proud of them all

after lunch off we went
myself, my 2 sons and daughter went
to a local hospital we did go
all with a present in hand
we dropped them off, hopefully some one can smile
we drove back with huge smiles
we did a very small bit to make some ones day
we all try to make this know ordinary day

what you see in someone isn't always the truth
mysterious people who will never hide
frowned upon by many and insulted
do you really know this person
if not why be so horrible and rude
why not step back from the pack

this person maybe very kind
doesn't want to steal the limelight
doesn't have a massive ego to sustain
do you really know this person
Is he just misunderstood

when he speaks out loud
is it because he doesn't need to hide
he is very protective to family and friend
maybe its because he was in a children's home
maybe he also came from a broken home

behind the scenes he brings smiles
he washes away tears
maybe spare a thought, is he happy or sad
I'm sure he is very happy
he asks himself what did these people do for others in life

he knows what he does every day
he try's to bring happiness without reward
he may not have a halo
but he does know, how to make people smile
do you really know this man

run with the pack, who are you
what is your identity, you have none
your lost, sat on your own persecuting people
being rude and twisting the knife
are you happy being sat all alone

Make a difference this coming year
break free, make a friend
smile and be happy
don't be sad with an ego
life is a better world with a smile

spare a thought and ask yourself this
am I alone
do you need a friend
why do I have to be nasty everyday
what have I lost
Its easier to ne nice, in life I have to trust
