What a week, chappy has had,
Been flat out, with good and bad,
Now its friday, i'll get a can,
Then I remember, I'm on a drinking ban

Imao yer not ready,
Especially when ya hiss,
You never no yer luck,
Endin up with me on the p.......

its a pleasure to meet you,
I say to the rest,
I'll play you, i'll beat you,
at least try my best,
I will play with yer,
no matter what,
and i'm gonna slay yer,
and pot the whole lot,
come av a go,
if your good enough,
and you all know,
to beat me i'm tough,
i'm not a pro,
but play pool I can,

Its been about a month since ive posted here
But i can see you lot have been sincere
Posting poems keeping the thread alive
Lots of banter and fun in turn makes it thrive

It gives me great pleasure when i return
And read all the poems for which i yearn
I smile when i read all of the pun
I know its all in good humour and fun

Please keep on posting come what may
Dittys and rhymes in between play
For i shall be the first person to cry
Should my beloved poem thread ever die

Hard to decipher,
Not making much sense,
Someone telling more lies,
While I sit on my fence,
I'm simply not getting it,
No rhyme nor reason I see,
Hope they soon sort themselves out,
And stop taking it out on ME!

Hippes sounds sad, that is never good
He don't come on here much, maybe he should
Plays the game and enjoys his life
There are troublesome people, it is rife
Hippes is a genuine cat though, thats for sure
I think i should say it once more
Don't get me wrong to play he is a git
But one things for sure .... he always keeps er lit !

A life lesson has been learned,
Not to rush into helping a friend.
1 cracking punch, his victory was earned,
And sending my night, to a premature end.

With lager coursing through my veins,
And with a rush of blood to the head,
I got KO'd, the bouncers had no names,
For the guys the who tried leave me for dead.

When I came round, paramedics everywhere,
Feeling a bit sore, I asked what is happening,
'You got punched mate, they ran over there'
'Don't move lad, you're head is bleeding'

Fractured jaw, whiplash and concussion,
All for helping out some good mates.
Next time, I'll be wary, think of No.1,
Stay inside, where its safer in Yates.

'Preach'

Is it really worth it?
Do you really need the pain?
For once were a safe country
Until we had to invade

There are no morals
No one really seems to care
Just inflict injuries on others
And families to despair.

Youths carrying knives
Gangs with their guns
Inevitable will happen
Losing more loved ones

There is no way to stop it
Only try to reduce
The belief it's kool to be someone
Instead try and ENJOY YOUR YOUTH!

A life is so precious
So fragile yet so meek
Enjoy the time we've be given
So let's practice what we preach.

Tho a cause for concern,
Some signs of being 'catty',
But why should he ever stop,

i live in my castle
my grounds i do roam
its not much i know
but a place i call home

horses to feed
n dogs i do leed
but somethings not right
in my tender heed

theres just some thing i miss
im not quiet sure what
it might be a woman
for all this love that iv got

for that special lady
that wants to give birth

and once i find her
and we settle down

'Testing times'

When all is going great
Be prepared for a bombshell
It can drop at any instant
There's no way to tell

How it will affect you or another
For recently I've had some bad news and
It affected my mother

All we can do is try be positive, use an analogy of a snooker
One way in to it, must be a way out
Who cares if it's a fluker.

Channel our minds to when we could find
An answer to every solution
For that's when these testing times
Require a revolution

In how we feel and the way we think
Nothings ever as bad as it seems
Yeah unfortunately these tests will stink
But don't allow them to ruin our dreams.

Dreams are that little ray of hope
Piece by piece we make our picture
A little twist here and a little twist there
That's what I call our life kaleidoscope

The big picture is we all want to see
Our parents to live beyond their eternity
Unfortunately time is taken when way too short
So take on any fight and make it one well fought.

Been waiting for a while,
To hear back from a lady,
No it's not a love interest,
Or anything shadey.

It's all about a job,
Or more specifically; a career,
And when I eventually get the call,
I'll celebrate with a beer.

It's all I've wanted to do,
Since the age of five,
Been knocked back a couple of times,
But all I've done is strive.

You get mates for life,
A good rate of pay,
Get to travel the world,
Don't want it any other way.

I can't wait to start this new path,
Bored of playing a waiting game,
When I get going though,
