Loved the poems youve done today

last week I went on holidays,
took the kids to the caravan,
the weather wasn't all that bad,
you could even have got a tan!

my girls made friends and ran about,
I sat and played guitar,
relaxed and chilled without any cares,
always knowing they wouldn't be far.

we finally made it to the beach and then,
we dug the obligatory hole,
my Ruby was the one to sit in it,
even if it made her bum cold!!

it was what she said as she sat in the sand,
showed me how she's so full of fun,
remarking on how deep the hole was,
saying the Chinese would see her bum!!!

and before ya think that was maybe enough,
the next quote did surely win,
"I hope that if they do see my bum......they don't try and put a light-bulb in!!!!"

gotta love my 7 year old

Suppose I better post, as its been a while
It wont be as good as these dudes, they've got style!
Where to start, I really don't know
It'll take me a while, getting into the flow

I've been over the road, to the dark side

I started smoking again last week
I lasted a whole month but things got very bleak
Me mam told me off, I've hid from me dad
I feel like a school kid, who's been very bad!

There's someone pm's every time I log in
Asks how I am, then jumps straight in
"gis a look at ya boobies" the same every time
It's always the same reply "no, you slime"

Of course he thinks its funny
"pmsl" I always get
It's a good job I know he's joking
Or I'd slap him no sweat!

I've fallen in love - I don't know why
I've fallen in love with a girl with one eye.

I knew from the start. It was plain to see
That this wonderful girl had an eye out for me

She's charming and witty and jolly and jocular
Not what you'd expect from a girl who's monocular.

Of eyes - at the moment - she hasn't full quota
But that doesn't change things for me one iota.

It must be quite difficult if you're bereft.
If your left eye is gone and your right eye is left.

But she's made up her mind. She's made her decision.
She can see it quite clearly in 10/20 vision.

She'll not leave me waiting, not left in the lurch
If she looks slightly sideways she'll see me in church.

I'll marry my true love who's gentle and kind.
And thus prove to everyone that loves not quite blind.

I've got the strangest feeling, Im not your favorite guy
Like im not even your friend. Or even your toy boy!
Over the past few days, It has really been quite rough
Vowing to myself that I will not make it tough
Even if your feeling down, know that I will feel it too

there's really no necessity,
we gotta keep our cool,
coz in the end you are the one,
