i was half dead
poolbird on the voddy

now shes wearing burgers wig
her swigs are getting bigger
she will be bouncing around like tigger

Lately I have been quiet, sat on my bum,
Thinking about the past, 'til my mind goes numb.
Should I do this, Should I have done that,
Where can I turn, who's there to chat?

It's a funny thing, the past, present and future,
Everything that happens, no ones fault but yours,
Look forward and hope, better days are to come,
One place to start, by getting off my bum.

Neglected like this poem thread,
I feel no hope inside,
There seems no chance of happiness,
To be taken for a ride.

A weekend of fun, I'm looking forward to,
Just won another ton, trying to make it two!
We shall start off beer, then maybe a shot,
I'll be nice though, there is one thats spicy hot.

Then onto the dancefloor, throwing some moves,
Bopping to a beat, getting in your groove,
Back to the bar, I think its my round,
Here you go Paula, pass these around

From the dance music, to the pure cheese,
Paula passes me a shot, 'Have one of these!!',
God, that was nasty, but now i feel great,
More dancing, and now its getting late.

Off to the bar, time for one more drink,
Put the glass in the air, we all go clink clink,
Wipe away the froth, take a big slurp,
Oh oh, here it comes, buuuuuuurp.

Last time on the dancefloor, take centrestage,
Air guitar to Bon Jovi, dont care about my age!
Oh look, the suns coming up, time to leave,
What a great night, just do NOT heave!!

So we wake with a hangover wanting junk food
Drank so much last night but in a great mood
Bodies are aching from throwing some shapes
OMG them shots tasted like bad grapes!
For today we shall just laze about
Nice and peaceful please do not shout
My head is banging and my liver needs rest
Til next weekend when we are feeling our best
Then the craziness shall start once more
Laughing and drinking as we hit the dance floor!!!

Come on Paula, it will be Saturday,
Hangover or not, once again we partayyyy,
Shower at 10, meet at half past,
First pint in, make this one last.

Order a breaky, start the day right,
Nothing beats bacon, the day is looking bright.
Watch some racing, take is steady,
Then by 5, we will almost be ready.

Ramp it up, quick jager or two,
Damn, broke the seal! Off to the loo!
Get back, another pint waiting,
Bloomin heck Paula, you're quite keen!

Quick taxi to town, walk into Yates,
Glance around and stroll to your mates,
Pint or mixer, which one to choose?
Pick up a drink, don't know whos.

Then off to Hustle, you'll know you've been there,
Cheap drinks, sticky shoes and stickers everywhere,
Quick one in Bentleys, a rather posh affair,
Looking good is essential, the bouncers do care.

Last place on my list, Lounge is the name,
Quite dirty, full of lads who canny aim...
But it's open until 6, if you can last the heat,
And if you do last the distance, they give you a treat.

At 6am, the survivors roar a cheer,
Because they know the treat is here,
Pizza boxes come flooding in! Pizza and booze,
Only one small problem, its all on my shoes!

So there is an insight, to a night around mine,
Get home at 7, I'll text you at 9,
You know whats coming, you try to shy away,
Back to the pub, where I'll treat you to an All Day Breaky!

Cos all this drinking will soon take its toll
Were drinking far too much alcohol ! !

Shall we have one more weekend of fun
Then look after our bodies we'll start with a run
I'll make healthy food we can drink fresh juice
Detox ourselves til our clothes feel loose

And with all them winnings we can save
We'll go somewhere hot and can sunbathe
Nice and relaxing so were looking good
Ready for when we go back to our hood

Put on our glad rags and hit the town again
Our glowing tans put our mates to shame

With a small drink in hand, I look around,
Where's Paula gone? Over to the bar?
Then I think meh, thats way too far

She comes walking over, sea lapping her toes,
With every second that passes, my tan grows.
Paula suggests a club, I eventually agree,
For one night only, have a spending spree!

£1 shots, the dentists chair,
Don't worry Paula, I've got your hair!
Paula goes crazy, I carry her home,
Back out I go, give hair a comb.

I lay on't beach, watch the sun rise,
Astounded by beauty, as night time dies,
People walking home, some coming out,
What a great night, there is no doubt.

How awesome is that, the clouds collide,
Block off the sun, but they leave me,
A circle of sun, just surrounding me,
People look over, wish they were me

Then Paula comes over, sits in the sand,
She looks at me, shows me her hand,
The look of shock, my head does wander,
I'd only bloody gone and proposed to her!

I can't remember, did I say this?
What did she say? Was there a kiss?
Then she giggles, in absolute bliss,
Chucks me the ring, she's taking the p...!

What a holiday, a pleasant delight,
I want another! Stay in at night,
Save up, go again, What you think chuck
She says hell yeah, holiday bug has struck!
