Along those lines though, is it just me or do the corner pockets seem to be inclined at an angle and not centered between the jaws? There seems to be more jaw showing on the outside than the inside

I think the updates are ok, would have been nice to see the 3 foul rule bought into the 8us game, as some of my games recently have got a little silly and precarious.

All in all, change comes with time so about time something new were bought to this site.

Dragging the cue ball to position is now, finally, added. Please let me know any issues.

The code now goes through a more rigorous compression and optimisation process. This means the game size is reduced by a few percent, makes the code easier to maintain, and it will slightly increase performance of the game.

Also mini golf was changed again to scale the leaderboard properly and fix an issue (the game froze if a contestant logged out on the leaderboard page).

is it just me, or should the fact that ya cant pot down side cushion in 8uk not in more need of adjustment????

It would be interesting to see whether, if the UK8 game was brought to a more realistic table, the game would still continue to be as popular on the old. I think the UK8 game is a strong enough tactical challenge to flourish, and be even more popular, on a US style table.

I agree, I think 8UK should be played on the same table as 9ball and 8US, but with the current 8UK rules. Bit more realistic, but still a totally different game

I don't know whether it is feasible to add new games (like US pool pro and a new UK pool) or different options (playing straight to a different number of points, or killer on the arcade table).

In particular, I'm concerned about the effects of diluting the user base by creating additional games, which means waiting more time to play a game. The least popular games might just not have enough people playing it, eg killer has always required effort to get a game going.

Note mini golf has some issue at the moment, it will be fixed next patch.

Would it be possible to bring them in on a tournament only basis? I can think of three benefits to that...

1) Not diluting the game base further as stated above (maybe even removing Arcade to tournament only on the same basis?)

2) Increasing the popularity of tournaments as this would be the only times players could play those games/tables thus making the tournments the focal point of the site again.

3) Tournament only game tables would make the ranking tables for such game types pure.

But many have already stated that they think there is far to many tournaments now.

I'm not advocating any more tournaments - just restructuring so that some tournaments are on tournament only tables or in tournament only game types.

I think there is only too many tournaments because its the same thing what Chris is saying think would work very well if the only way to play a certain game type was in a Tournament I think people would enter it and want to play. It would bring the whole tournament worth achieving bak where as at the moment they are too easy as there is too many of the same types

Yh good idea hippie, now people are starting to hit a few cents quite regular and i think it should be added, seb would top the list but still the rest of the places would be fun!

You could make it so when creating a game of straight, you can set it up so you can either play to 35 or say 100, so those that can pull of those sort of runs have more of a challenge than just winning the game in one run

Hey nick, any chance we could replace the arcade games with something else, as if you take both out and replace it with 1 game, a popular 1 it would mean less game types and more people in them, or would you consider adding arcade to your overall scores?? That would give me the incentive to play it, possibly others aswell!

Im not sure on how many people actually play it, but i no a lot of people who don't rate it as anything but a good old smash up, which i assume is fun for some players but it would be nice to see something else something new to get peoples attention again!

Probably been mentioned before, little addition if at all possible could you make it so you have to nominate the 9 ball to a certain pocket before potting it?

P.S Dragging the cue ball works fine for me, good addition as some rare times i have placed it without meaning to, but more importantly them tight 1s which are touch n go you can check now before finally placing it where u want it.

Like that part especially for 9 Arcade as the amount of times you go out on a fluke is horrendous.
