You may play the game right, in your eyes..
But please use paragraphs, next time you write an essay. I feel like I'm on acid after trying to read the story above.

Just an idea: Is there not anyway the 2 sites could run in junction with each other at the same time? MEANING: On the main Home screen could there not be an icon or link you click if players want to revert to the older version or play this new modification if they just continue through to the security screen?
Could have a ticker on each site to record the amount of traffic say for a 2 week trial. Then the busier one will either stay or be reverted back to?
That way it would be accommodating the new and reinvigorating the old players/ visitors to this site. Just a way to diffuse all negativity or criticism.

^^ That has been done for the bigger changes, like when the new 8 and 9ball tables were introduced to replace the pro ones.
Fact is, over time (as was seen in that case) people eventually gravitate to the newer updates as they are, obviously, improvements.
Lets not forget that some people always resist change. If we paid attention to them we would still have a site optimised for 600x480 screen resolution, with UK 8Ball as the only game, no tourneys, the old 3 ball rule, GB shots, etc etc

Very true spinner, different ppl adapt to change and some just won't allow themselves to accept them as it's a 'break from the norm'. I personally don't actually have a preference, it's an online game, just glad it's here and I always try my best regardless to size dimensions.

Any chance of setting up a flag system for the Team threads?
Meaning a red flag for 'Important Info', ie new fixtures etc, save players having to scroll through the previous pages to find their fixtures and stop players from missing vital information?
Just an idea.

Why not do a complete factory reset with all players, set everyone back to 675, prohibit being able to reset at all or create another account. Allocate an Authorization code per player this records their IP address and other vital information. Anyone who deactivates not only has to enter their password but this authorization code, once done cannot return to the site as a consequence for 3 months. Hopefully deter people from deactivating,as for trying to hide or dereg their IP in sure something could be done, im no computer expert.

How about a reward scheme? Introduce 5 new players and they buy a premium membership then you get the next 12 months free? Im only thinking of some ideas don't shoot the messenger lol.
Introduce gold, silver and bronze memberships:
Gold - £9.99 (12 months)
Silver - £6.99 (6 months)
Bronze - £ £4.99 (3 months)
If you buy a bronze once ran out u must buy a silver one next, had a,silver must take out a gold etc.

Second bit's not a bad idea. Giving free memberships like that wouldn't work though, it ain't much really for 12 months, and Nick needs all the cash he can get, especially with all this talk of advertising going around.
But there wouldn't be the need to buy a silver once a bronze has ran out I don't think. Especially if people weren't thinking and bought 3 or 4 bronze memberships in a row, would be paying more than 9.99 for 12 months then . But there will be people that buy 3/4 months membership occasionally, even that is bringing in some cash, especially if that player wasn't going to buy 12 months premium.

We had that on this gangster game i used to go on. Each major update would see All stuff reset for everyone. Sure its a level playing field but would get boring playing for rank only to get it reset.
Only time this is needed is when ranking system becomes unbalanced

And what about people that have family members or like myself, i live with 4 other lads in a rented student property, we all have accounts though. If you did that it'd stop the whole family friendly aspect. Could finally take away swear filters though

yeah as for Deactivating people do it for different reasons (e.g. Fuzzy for Privacy/Fresh Start, few others for Challenges etc), this would do more harm than good in the long run.
