A few helpful changes this patch:
- You can accept an invite through the chat window
- Auto play for games - basically you won't need to click each game, but just turn off when you wish to stop playing (EDIT: just to clarify this will only work for auto clicking for you. If your opponent doesn't have this selected you'll still have to wait for them to click.)
- The buttons above the game have been made higher resolution (the old ones seemed to be badly compressed). I've also removed the background colour to make it more uniform.
- Forum posts are now highlighted, when you take a particular post, or you add a new post.
- US regular table has been touched up. The corner pockets have been moved slightly further outwards.
- Mini golf leaderboard has been changed (there were issues with that page in that they scaled badly, I might try to improve it further).
I'm also looking into repositioning the cue ball (after a foul) across all places.
Any problems please let me know!

Yes, should be fine again now.

You would be able to replace the cue ball if you have incorrectly placed it with ball in hand (currently where you place it is final).

I like that cue ball one as i do that sometimes due to the mouse.
Not liking the US table pockets at all though, making it easier to pot. US was always a great challenge when playing. I can see many getting higher runs in straight now also with this.

The pockets seem bigger, especially the side pockets, am I crazy? I like them the old size...

Would that have it's own shot clock or be included as part of the shot clock for the first shot after a foul?
e.g. after an opponent fouls and gives you ball in hand, you have 10 seconds before your shot to place the ball where you want as many times as you like (and could click to accept ball position if you're happy with position straight away). Then you take your next shot as normal.
or would it just be normal shot clock but you can click a button to pick up the ball again or something similar?

Good question. It is easier to implement if it is the same shot clock as before not additional time because you need to place the cue ball, so I intended to add it that way. (I think it works like this in each professional timed tournament events too.)

Just a quick idea on the subject of the American Table,
Would it be possible to have the rack marking imposed on the table (for Straight) to show where the balls will go?

Good idea pirate, i have to be honest and say i'm not a big fan of the new tables i think most will agree that it is a tad easier now which is what separated 8uk to the other tables.
You will get a lot more people playing the US games now but the hardcore players will be disappointed, i was actually thinking if any the UK table needed tweaking, especially the middle poc where u can pot dead on the cushion.
I like the other stuff tho, more user friendly so good job on that!
May i ask what was the idea behind the change of the tables was their complaints that i don't know about?

Ive noticed a increase in runouts already on the new tables. they are alot easier to play on but did prefer the old tables as they were more challenging.. i can see some big runs coming on straight now..

UK pockets should be changed to be the same as the funkysnooker ones.

Wonderful job nick, i really like the improvements as matty said the new pockets are quite difficult to get use to though. Perhaps instead of changing back to the old one, give people the option whether or not they want the new table or the old one?
Please take tables back to how they was.

table certainly is easier, I just hit 6 practice 9ball run-outs in a row!
Got me thinking, should have a prize of a premium membership for first person to hit 10, after the 10th set the balls up in a new shape rather than smiley face.
Back to my point, us table making me look half decent!
