Pretty sure last season at least 1 clan was rejected for not playing enough... not sure whether that was here or snooker...

But seriously, yeah Jay started it back up with me so did Pixie, but both went separate ways to do their own things. It's not just me who has new players either or those who haven't played for a while, plus most clans would have pre season friendlies also so I don't see a problem.

Well my clan is ploughing through friendlies so I am happy to let us in, that is not a biased decision either.

I am happy to give UT a try without pre-seasons.

I think in place of that though there will be a 3 strikes and your out system in place for defaults or something.... thoughts? (maybe not on fcl thread lol)

I agree with Mich here on the new players thing....

Get there first actual league game and get blasted 15-0 say by the pro's.....good chance he/she would be off for good.

In a one league system then lesser players are gonna get battered sometimes.

So this same player wins their friendly and week one of real fixtures get beat 15-0 and are off then! No difference same issue.

Again with clans as a whole they prove nothing, sharpshooters last year played all their games but they always fold, happens everytime. Didnt need a pointless friendly to tell me. Gravy folded as unfortunately its what they do, again I didnt need a friendly to tell me!

ALl they do is not give captains a break, this making them likely to be more stressed, this morr likely to make clans fold.

Pre Season has been like this for years now, and im not going to change it. If people want excluded from them then they should win the league or the cup.

Rather annoyed to see that someone thinks i will let in a team just because i was part of that team for a short time. If a clan does not play the required amount of games then they are out. That decision is mine and mine alone and the only way they would be allowed in is if it turned out to be their opponents fault.

John, pixie_dust is still an admin in the FCL as am i in the FBL. I fail to see your point about her possibly making a decision here (won't happen). Does it really matter if we both ran both leagues together, no it doesn't plus i don't want to

I still offer my bet these two teams get in the league regardless of the state of the fixtures at the FIRST deadline set. Your doubles league decisions shows there is of course biases.

For everyone to be continually told the leagues are separate its probably not for the best for Jema to be saying something will happen on the thread. If im to believe they are independent then continue to show this and not comment on not your league.

People are free to comment on what ever they want, all because she used the word "we". I don't think you grasped the concept of Jema's post being a joke...

If both clans play the minimum amount needed then of course they will be allowed to enter the league... i am not biased and never will be, but i do love to count how many times people can call me it. If you don't like the way the league is run or don't agree with Pre Season then you know where the door is John but calling me biased is going to accomplish what?

I have said all i have to say on the matter, Pre Season is staying, play the minimal amount and your team is in the league. This goes for all clans as always.

My aim was to never call you biased, I was simply pointing out what was going to and still is going to happen. You ask for discussions and I bring an utterly valid point and im asked to like it or leave. Ill happily discuss it. As it was asked if I believe your biased, yes you are but your leagues, you can run it as you wish and you are right there is nothing anyone can do!

I was actually agreeing with your point about Pre-Seasons and intend to cancel them over on FBL - but as I expected you make some negative comment towards me. I guess there is no pleasing some people

I think the friendlies serve a valid purpose, we did have an influx of bad clans which wouldn't last a fixture set. These would be caught out in pre-season friendlies. The fact most clans pass shows the standard is pushed up higher, the next step would be to maintain that standard over the season. Something similar to a 3 strikes rule, completion bonuses haven't really worked and aren't always fair.

Also, pre-season seems to be coming round very quickly. It's like the 2-3 week gap between seasons has stopped including pre-season. There needs to be more of a gap I feel.

You think i am biased, even though you are one of the people i have known longest on here, fair enough... every game score, fixture and everything else in between has always been done properly, if you think or anyone thinks i am that biased then ill give you the last four seasons information and let you start counting and what not, no problem

I listened to what you said and took it on board but im not going to cancel the games just after i released them last night and everyone has started playing and arranging. It is taken on board for next season though.

I am now done on this subject, get the proof of me being biased before posting it like others have done in the past .

A league runner on here should have and does have the chance to have a laugh and a joke while making decisions about how the league works.

I find it hard to believe that anyone would expect these people to be anything less than human fgs.

Player stature, rank or professionalism should not be allowed to dictate to the ruling body.

You never seem to see the so called lesser clan members saying much.

Why ?

It's a online pool league, it's been ran fair for season's with just the odd hiccup.

I think saying a league runner is biased is a serious accusation. Despite the fact Jay is my husband I would probably be harder on him that I am on anyone else in the league as I wouldn't want him thinking that because we are married he gets any favours.

I have not seen him act biased and if I did, I would certainly call him out on it.

I would actually love to see examples of where this season I have been biased as I have followed my league rules exactly nor have I treated UBs any more favourably than any other clan.

My opinion was asked I answered, again my intention was to highlight the useless friendlies, I again could give specific cases but not interested in this! Friendlies are the topic I can be bothered arguing!

Jema you can answer how you like about the seriousness of ny opinion but as this is the fcl thread go run the other league and leave my discussions and opinions to this league runner!
