With all due respect there are people playing this game a lot longer than the league runners so feel that to not give these guys involved in games an opinion if the the above scenarios is a bit wrong. There are arguments but it normally is more over a rule that is ambiguous and can be seen different ways than anything else. A rule to say that the team that is in the lead of a match has the right to want to hold onto that lead is not ambiguous. If i'm three games up and my opponent quits, deactivates or not, am I chuff starting at 0-0 again. If the other team has the option to bring in a sub for the last three, I was expected to play 6 for the clan so can have zero argument.

What I certainly wouldn't be doing is changing the rules and using the phrase 'this is how it is'. I for one will not play under that philosophy.

I understand your point, but league runners have also been playing this game longer than some of clan members.

What I mean by this is how it is, is that I want the rule to instruct what happens and not leave it down to members/clans to decide. I am not going to give an opportunity for one clan to potentially bully another clan.

The rule will state that a partially played game will be allowing substitutions, but I will not leave it to clans to decide whether it should be reset, continued or not subbed at all - that is what would lead to arguments between players.

Personally I do think that clans should be given the option between then and if they can't mutually agree on something then the league runners should step in but I think they should be at least given the option. Most of us are adults and Therfore should really be treated as such. At least give it a chance and if too many arguments occur then re-evaluate the situation and amend it after.

the rule that u cant sub for seven days as a rule i like as some people when games are released are asking me for subs instead of giving my guy a chance to play his game. I always give my guys 7 days to play game unless there offline for 10 days when they will be removed from the clan.

the rule that anyone can make sub on deadline day is fine as long as the person making the sub does what us captains have to do and post it on our thread, the opposing teams thread, and fcl or fbl thread, as sometimes id come on start trying to make subs and find out game has been played.

Right 2 things have changed regarding rules...

1. the partially played game has been changed so that the sub must continue from whatever the score was left at.

2. i have changed the swap rule back to 1 swap per match instead of the 2 swaps.

jema, the partially played games, if say I started off playing whocares8x8, and I was winning 5-0 (LOL), and then on default day he subbed out for pirate_steve, and he took last frame for a 5-1, how would the golden cue stuff work?

All played frames are included in the golden cue, but you can only make a sub if the player has been banned or deactivated, so I am hoping there won't be any scenarios of partially played games

With thanks to your reply on the Snooker Squad thread you motivated me to actually answer the killer question.

As suggested the killer was indeed VERY wanted in the league again this year.

Every FBL captain messaged, including captains of teams with two, and with only three to get back to me out of a large number, one said they didn't want it in the league.

Food for thought.

I would make the suggestion of messaging these captains in future before making decision. It took me all of a few minutes to send the message and not long get such a unanimous answer back.

I posted on the league discussion thread and posted the link on every clan page to get the perspective of everyone playing in the league, not just the captains, so don't tell me I didn't make an effort and in future don't tell me what to do.

Quick question, underdogs subbed out a player from their uk games and its an eligible sub for the other games except he is ineligible because he has been subbed out of uk, if we agree can we not have that sub made??
