You're right, but when creating a rule, you have to be careful that it can't be abused. With your proposal, I could just tell someone who is getting smashed to log off and then put a sub in to start the game over.

at least it gets played with a sub though rather have game restarted then partially played and if its partially played it goes to default as u cant sub in a good rule would be if its partially played u can sub someone in to finish game but that would mean 2 guys playing one match

To be honest, I'd rather have a partially played game go to defaults rather than people cheating to get a game restarted. The rule will have to take that into account.

After a recent discussion with mattywellie about the FBL league and the running of it i gave my services to temporarily take over the FBL as Matty is rather busy at this moment in time, bare in mind that there was never a head runner of the FBL but i did a lot of the work and i will mainly be doing the work i did before + the fixtures while James does the same that he did which is defaults and golden cue. Taking all this into consideration...

At this moment in time a new season website is being created for the FCL which will now play host website to the FBL, meaning that both leagues will be on the same website but have their own sections for all games, rules, tables and so on. I have spoken to Matty as it was my idea to do this so i phoned him up and we spoke about it. Obviously their is FCL things that FBL should not be able to see so their is restrictions going in place on the site to stop any league runner changing something on the wrong league. League runners such as Matty and James only need the google doc page to do what they need to do so no mistakes should be made anyway.

Pixie_dust and myself are working on the website, bringing the rules over to it and what not (some FCL ones are changing and they will be put in bold soon in another post for others to see) The website will be released soon as we think it is ready for all to see.

hey has fbl asked teams to sign into fbl yet? as the other leagues have hopefully I haven't overlooked it.

Due to the above i have a few ideas which i have split into 2 sections:

Bold = Implemented for new season
Underline = Won't be in new season
Italics = Not Likely to be in new season

Important:

3 defaults at fault = Fixture Suspension from your next fixture

Fault = 0 points from defaults team

due to killer defaults i believe we need a set time on deadline night to play this killer if the killer is unplayed by then, since snooker is at 9 pm i am proposing either 8 or 10 pm as i would need to check who is online and invite them to play (defaults will be done normally).

a Cup tournament tree at start of season so people know who they are playing in advance. (included with Plate if the interest is there)

Not so Important:

Cup games included in the Golden Cue

I will take care of this next season if people want it.

FCL an idea came up about having a plate competition alongside the Cup, this would mean even if you lose your first match you have something to play for still.

Below is the new schedule for FBL which as everyone wanted is a week after most FCL games and what not. The Transfer deadline is the same as the FCL though as many people have had weeks now to move around so that settles that. Same as FCL there is a week deadline in the December game due to Christmas. Fixture schedules may change depending on what teams make it into the league.

Fighting Eagles have asked to be removed from the FBL. Both your clans where supposed to play them but due to the above your second fixture will now be Snooker Squad v Mouseketeers. I will sort this to show on the website soon before i release any games. If you wish to change your team that you sent me for the game against Eagles then you may do so by the deadline.
