FBL is my favourite league tbh, but I certainly wouldn't want to run it!

Well as I would be the only remaining league runner as everyone else has other commitments, who would actually like the FBL to continue and what could be done to improve it?

i think 2 leagues would be good as i play in 4 leagues but for those who just play pool they tend to like 3 better.

variety can be a good thing but can it be too much?

thats my take as a player as a league runner i would like it to continue i think FBL is fine but i don't really like the sub rules as i have to let seb do the subs as i get confused by them, other than that its a good league in my view but as a player my least favourite of the four.

what would happen to the website next season?

Depends who takes over I am guessing, I mean if the league carries on and they let me look after it, I would keep it attached to the FCL website but another runner might want to set up their own.

I can guarantee you now there are two people that will not be getting the league "I won't name names so I don't break any rules " just saying they should already know :-)

Good Jema ;-) on a brighter note, if Jema wanted it she can have it as she would keep it linked to fcl but I think what we should do is ask captains to do a vote between there players (majority)

Then we do a vote from the teams if more people want it than not then keep it but obviously need to find a runner soon.

I would take it on if clans wanted to keep the FBL but I would probably look to shake it up a little bit to keep it interesting, look to players to see what they would want from the league

Next season I will have no involvement with any clan so I could concentrate fully on the league and can't be considered biased

Considering I do most of the stuff for FBL anyway, it makes no difference to me taking it on as I already do it

maybe do it by applicants like they do with moderators.

- Username
- Account Age
- Experience
- What they will provide for the league

maybe have it so they need to have two seasons in the league (could count previous names if needed), and 3 months account age on the current account (this means the account should be stable enough to run the league).

give it about a fortnight and then we can talk on the FBL Forum and see who is the best for the job

Craig you can not speak for the whole clan, i asked players to have a look and see what i posted. No one mentioned the format from what i have read either?

It will not go down to a vote either from other captains or what ever, if we feel someone is not suitable to be the head runner and run the league then they would be told straight away as you need ALOT of spare time to do what needs to be done. It don't matter if you work or not either as right now i don't work but i don't spend all day on here, when i get a minute to myself i do league things and try to answer anyones messages. You also need to stick to a schedule that you have made and then there is doing the fixtures, trying to make sure all players are eligible then you got defaults and new fixtures and so on and so on.

Two killer games could have been added this season if it was said in time to but the problem i have with that is killer seems to be the last to be played and the hardest to get played.

At the same time, people are not going to want to attempt to be a runner or what ever else as alot of stick comes from it to like being told your biased and what not. Takes a while to get used to that being said but if you make 9/10 good decisions then you have no problem at all really. No one is perfect and mistakes can happen as these leagues rely on computers actually working, websites working and everything else which is involved in a online gaming league.

the reason i said that, is simple if people in our clan took their time out to play FBL clan friendlies they are obviously happy, however if you feel it needs a vote then fine nps there

Ours usually get done quickly but as I always argued before 2 games would make people prioritise getting them done with whoever they have on rather than trying to wait till they have their best killer players on.

Did not say anything about changing the format and I said shake it up based on what people want from the league i.e. rules, as people have posted about some of them, so the players choose how they want the league set up - not take over the league and completely change it, it wouldn't be FBL then.

we generally use whoever is online at that time and generally try to use 6 different players for both killers, having 4 killer games will only lead to defaults in the long run. I know Angries would get it done but we need to think about other teams as well.

maybe do a trial during next preseasons if the league stays?
