I agree 100% with this Jay.

Anything less than 10 clans in the league then it has to be one division or it will be a very very very short season.

Seb was just saying that one league would cope better with that sort of loss and it would mean you losing one game instead of two, agree with him on that but it is still rare for teams to fold mid-season and I think the amount of players leaving smaller clans because they get a couple of thumpings in a row would increase and lead to more folding clans too.

Yes UT are folding sniper but you quoted me on talking about Division one and as they are folding i had no reason to include them in that post as they are not a division one clan, they fold as division two clan and champions.

Well, div 2 teams would be playing Professionals and Sinners (are those the two best clans?) with the likes of matty, adam, king8ball1, tratter, beenjammin, dvz, onua, etc etc in 4 out of 10 fixtures each season.
That's not much better than having to face each team once...

my misunderstanding..theres been teams in div.2 that could beat div.1 lool. So if this works, will some teams be removed like above was said? I wouldnt want TLK out of season..so if thats the case lets keep it 2 divisions..unless we squeeze all teams in one div.

The issue for me is we start with 12, two teams of six which is great but you get the inevitable drop outs and one Div is usually ruined.

Play one league, all the 'top' players are against each other and the 'lesser' players get better experience for playing them.

There is no removing out of the season, unless you fail the pre season. Your right there is some teams/players that can beat a division one team/player, the likes of Uprising have a strong side well at least i thought they had one anyway... It is like TLK, they are doing quite well against division one teams in the cup games for the leagues (of course they can only draw division one teams in cup until they are division one)

I don't and I don't think C'n'G will either so we would have a great first division/2nd division split again then, when we joined the 1st division it was Cobras, UT, Top Dogs, UB and crazy eights coming up with us....they were all long standing clans so a couple of seasons getting back to that is going to happen...doesn't mean we have to restructure the whole league.
When the league is structured properly people will play players near their level all the time, in a 1 league system new players will just get turned over every season.

Right, but for the system to be effective (meaning without teams getting promoted after placing 4th or 5th), you the majority of clans to be stable one season.
So with these 3 good new clans, 2 will get promoted, meaning one will stay in div 2 to spank the rest in two seasons. Then the season after that, everyone will have the first good season in div 1.
So really we need everyone to be solid clans for a good 3 seasons to be worth it.

I don't see it happening... not based on all the evidence we've had so far. Again, in theory I agree with all you are saying and would prefer 2 divisions. In practice it just hasn't worked and won't work.

In an ideal world 2 leagues would be great and we would have 2 competitive leagues with the top teams all in division 1. The reality is we don't have that and never will as we are always going to have teams that fold and new clans formed.

The structure of the leagues needs to suit for this happening rather than the ideal world scenario which will never happen as we are always going to get clans folding. Only way that we can allow for the constant changing of clans is to have one big league and then it makes no difference if 6 clubs fold and come back under different names the following season. Unless someone can come up with something else that allows for this to happen.
