Transfers


Can't see how this will work, you either have transfers or you don't. League runners being able to overrule will just mean players going inactive until they are released then coming back, messaging you saying it was a genuine absence and getting a transfer.
Rather a player left us for another clan without all that hassle and spending weeks not knowing what's going on.
Fair enough say no transfers if that is what you are doing but it has to be one or the other.

Fair enough mate, still seems pointless work for yourself to me....don't forget some people like joining 4 or 5 clans twice each before the season starts lol

Genuine absence should be told to a captain anyway, if that was the case they brought to myself then i would not over rule it in the slightest unless it was proven. Even then 95% of players let their clan know they will be going away for a period of time.

I was more or less meaning that a player is booted from a clan even though they have completed every clan game they had with that clan and where just removed for the sake of it, someone could have a case then.

I could keep the rule we have the now which does work but many get confused about it, even though i have always stated that if you leave Untouchables for example to go to Team Angry then that would count as your one move during the season, but if you was booted/left Team Angry then you could only play for the clan you left in first place which would be Untouchables. Some found this confusing and a bad idea so i may remove that if i stuck to the rule there is now.

Yeah i know in fairness though the actual website updating is the easy part (where clan changes are made and what not) takes minutes usually, it is the actual google docs that holds the games, results, individual league and all that that is time consuming.

Lee....not sure if u were aware but i was a LL at season start never played a FCL or FBL game for them but moved to angry...A fair move as no games played. Maybe this kind of scenario is the only one that can be allowed ?

The 2 months for accounts rule is fine, although that shouldn't apply to the original teamsheets at the beginning of the season. Otherwise, when can anyone change an account? The right time is between seasons.
So once the preseason friendlies start, from that point onwards any new players should need the 2 months.

Just to explain further, the point of the rule is to avoid players getting around the transfer rules, right? Since there's a transfer window anyway, players aren't getting around anything when they get a new account.

Think Jay is trying to cover the very very rare possibility of an unreasonable captain who doesn't give a player games or boots them because someone better comes along.
Don't think toluca would fall into either category at all, was just you getting itchy feet every 5 minutes again in my opinion.

Surely if your 'looking at that' same situation should be applied to banned players who get their name back?

It's so they don't introduce a transfer rule and have people deactivate and make new accounts to get around it, banned player getting their name back wouldn't fall into that category.

Sorry I understand that I ment I'm against the witch hunt going on on said thread.

All I can see is that because a player got their name back their eligible to captain, so they kick up a stink.

A player gets banned, gets the banned name back and is eligable to captain and then they ignore that.

Just think it should be left and let them play.

Well he is right about the captaincy thing, people shouldn't be allowed to quit whilst captain of a clan last season, deactivate then be making a new clan next season because they have somehow got their old name back.
It's the exact thing they are trying to stop with making it 2 seasons experience on the same username and once again people will find a loophole somehow.
